Do not spend your money here. They over charge and did a crap job. My nails look like they already need a fill and I just left, they did zero maintenance on my cuticles, I have acrylic and polish stuck to my skin. Overall worse nail salon I have ever been to and they charged me $109.00! Not worth it at all. read more

I hate giving anyone a bad review but to calm my soul I feel it is the only thing that I can do. I walked in to the shop for a 6 PM appointment and was back in my car at 6:57 PM with a pedicure gel nails and manicure gel nails. I feel like I paid $87 to have my toe nails and finger nails painted with no real attention paid to me feet or hands. I have been getting pedicures for over 25 years and have never been out of the pedicure chair within one hour. My nails look good ... but it was not relaxing ... very rushed and no real service like you would expect with a pedicure and manicure. There was a lady in a pedicure chair when I got in my chair, they had stared her. She was just getting out of her chair when I was paying for my services! I think that it was the young man who did me ... not everyone there. But I will never go back! read more

The lady who did my acrylics made not one.... not two.... but a whopping THREE of my nails bleed because she pushed my nail beds back so far to the point where it looked ridiculous and there was absolutely no more skin to cut off. My one finger was bleeding so much she had to stop what she was doing to keep cleaning it, which happened at least 10 times. Oh and every time she cleaned it, she used some sketchy liquid that made my poor finger burn even more. It took a good three days after I got them done for the pain to completely stop. I'm shocked my finger did not become severely infected. read more

This place was just "ok". Nothing special about it at all. The staff like to speak in their language at each other and I'm always uncomfortable about that. The water for my pedicure was SO hot I couldn't stand to have my feet in it, and they seemed very annoyed when I asked them to make it cooler. I went with a friend, we got the same thing, my friend sat down first and was still sitting there minutes after I was done. I'm super annoyed when people feel they have to do a rush job, when I'm paying good money to have anything done. My polish for my toes was chipping off the 2nd day, and I was wearing socks. No way that should've happened. Also, the massage lasted maybe 2 minutes. It didn't feel good, it didn't last a long time, and they weren't even trying to care. I won't be back. I pay far less than this when I go to my own hometown in FL, and they do a great job, so I'll just wait to go there from now on. read more

When I lived in Johnstown, I used to get my nails done here all the time. They were always pleasant and friendly, and it was easy to get an appointment. Maybe not the cleanest place, but it seemed hygienic enough. Had so many nail polishes to choose from. Now that I've had my nails done other places, I realize that at V-Nails, they always did the acrylic really thick...which was kind of annoying. Nails were always ruined when I took them off, but all in all, it was a good place with friendly staff who were good at what they did. read more

Holy cow. Horrible would be a generous description. Unfortunately since they're the only nail salon in a 20 mile radius they don't have any competition. Booked a bridal party a month in advance for a Tuesday morning. We get there right on time but since they took walks in that morning in place of our appt, they were completely booked. I could tell we were so important obviously. Then they complained about the 3 of us needing fake nails. They didn't have the time. The list of complaints goes on and on but I'll summarize. Ruined the bridal party nail experience. We went one at a time as they could squeeze us in, literally taking walk ins as we're waiting. Ultimately we were there over 4 hours to do 8 girls nails and pedis. And on top of that, they didn't give us a discount whatsoever. They also messed up the charge on my friends card and decided texting her for the next 2 days was the most professional way to ask to rectify their mistake. All in all absolute worst bridal party nail salon visit I've ever had in my entire life and I'm very happy I'll never be there ever again. read more

HORRIBLE! I called ahead & was quoted a price and then my granddaughter was charged DOUBLE the amount & was told that was the price for a "first-time" customer. Got my nails done here for my best friend's wedding. Staff was very nice, pricing was average for the service. Almost a week later, my pedicure is still intact. Gel manicure has some slight chipping, but I use my hands a lot at my job. Overall, was a decent experience. read more

I have been going to V-Nails for several years. In the last year or so they have replaced the pedicure chairs so that they are very comfortable. The decor is also very cute and it makes you happy to sit and be pampered while getting your treatments. The staff is very friendly and from what I can see they try to make everyone satisfied. Went here once for a standard mani and pedi. The prices seem similar to other salons in the area. The staff is friendly and they have a nice color selection. However the pedi didn't last long, Im not sure if they did something to the polish or what but the polish would peel off on its own, and I mean the whole nail...all in one piece. I didn't even stub my toe or anything promise. I've never had this happen before. While i was there the nail tech nicked my cuticle like 3 different times because "the clippers were new/sharp". Well if that was the case she should've slowed down so as not to injure me. Probably won't be back here. Only plus is that its across the street from the wine & spirit store. read more
