Snap Fitness - Nasty rusty towel at bottom of a nasty rusty door. Looked like the towel had been there for a looooooooong time!

matrix is a great machine and they have cleaning station with towels…read more the photo images in the front I feel could be replaced and a more clean less "red" vibe but they are friendly and clean music a bit loud could hear over my headphones so bring that down a tad. but the music wasn't offensive (at least when i was in they didn't have the degrading music that some play) plenty of parking but the parking lot appeal could be better.

This is a great gym. They have a nice locker room and great weight machines and weights. They let…read moreveterans work out at a discount which is really nice. I enjoy this gym and continue to use it. I had one bad experience today that I will overlook but they probably need some customer service training. I had accidentally left a device there. When I went back to pick it up from lost and found the Jack was missing for the charger. The young lady who helped me was extremely rude and dismissive. She literally did not care that it was not there and put very little effort into looking for it. Acted extremely annoyed that I still wanted my Jack for my charger. She flatly Refused to ask anyone else about it or look into it further. As a veteran, I was surprised at such rudeness. But I'm glad most people there and in this community of Lewiston have much better principles than that one bad example. Or I should say good example of bad character. She probably lives in Washington State. And she looked extremely unhealthy for someone working in a gym.

Snap Fitness - Ohhh these lovely vents. There was probably a good 10-20 of them. All looked like this or worse.

The student rec center is pretty top notch. If you're a student you're already paying a fee for it…read moreso you might as well take advantage of it. It has wide variety of weight machines to use along with free weights. Upstairs is a whole strip of elliptical a with some bikes, treadmills and rowing machines thrown in. I personally prefer to run on the indoor track which is an eighth of a mile although you can't beat the workout running around the Pullman hills. It's great for getting back in the groove though or if the weather is a bit nasty outside. There's also indoor and outdoor courts for basketball and volleyball as well as an indoor roller rink area. Pool and ping pong are also available. Swim-wise there's a lap area and then a more recreational area. Plus you can't beat relaxing in the hot tub, decently-sized so you don't have to hang too close to strangers. The locker rooms (at least the women's) are nice. They have a bunch of lockers they rent out with some open in case you borrow a lock at the front desk. Plenty of benches as well. I've never had a problem nabbing a shower and it's always had warm water if I needed it. The women's also has a large mirrored area with outlets for fixing yourself up after a workout. At the front desk you can check out a whole list of items including: volleyballs, basketballs, pool cues and balls, rollerblades and so much more I probably font even know about. The rec is also where the majority of the rec classes are held. I personally love the Zumba classes but they have all sorts to fit everyone's wants. They also do free demos at the beginning of each semester for people to check out.
