I have to wash any shirts with stains. The spray and wash they use won't do it. I try to be helpful, return my hangers, unbutton buttons, turn snap shirts inside out. But now the price went up to $3.50 for shirts. I can't justify taking my shirts there any longer. Nice people though. They have needed to update their name for many years. Do not use the new seamstress at this location. The previous seamstress, Anna, was much better. I had three jeans waistband taken in. Charged $15 per jean and looked like a child could have done the same thing. As soon as I put on a pair, the thread started to break. What a waste of money!! Just went to another seamstress today. The 1.50 is now 2.95...still a good deal in MOST instances. However my recent experience is an exception. Previously clerks have hung the completed order for inspection- under a sign stating the order is complete if accepted. That the clerk handed my order to me, over-the-counter on Saturday should have raised suspicion, but I assumed, since it appeared, she was working by herself. This was done for expediency. I should have known better ! When I arrived home with the order and started to put things away, I noticed my $300 wool Guess brand coat has been ruined. Received a call out of the blue advise the cleaner would reimburse me to cover the cost of replacing the lost pants....it would have been so easy for them to walk away from the whole issue but rather they did the right thing as it was the right thing to do in resolving the issue! I have been coming to this business for years off and on. I took some clothes in today and asked about some missing shirts from the the previous week. The young lady behind the register told me she didn't have time to look into it and I would need to ask when I picked up the clothes I dropped off. She said she was extremely busy! I come here and spend my money 50 to 125 dollars each time, and she was too busy? This is not good customer service and I definitely felt put off by her. I have been taking dry cleaning here for several years whenever I was in town. I even became friendly with the owners so of course, I never expected what happened to happen. I had asked my sister to pick up my dresses I had dropped off. When she picked up the dresses, she counted what was on the ticket and called me to say 4 dresses were missing. I talked to one of the owners (wife), she apologized and said she would reimburse me. It took me sone time to find receipts for each dress. I asked a local consignment owner to give me the value for resale and sent to the owner, with no response. What I sent was a third of what I paid for the dresses. I continue to reach out to the owner asking for a response and when I could pick up a check. I went by more than once asking for the owner. When I finally was able to speak with her in person, her response was, it had been too long, and that she could not reimburse me. I was not upset, and understand things happen, but I am extremely upset now, because she did not honor her word. I would not recommend this cleaner. read more

I was very happy with this cleaners....until I got home and had holes in two sweaters. It happens. I took the sweaters in on Saturday to discuss the matter with the staff. The young man informed me that his manager would have to give me a call. Today...November 29th, I get a call from the owner who doesn't apologize, doesn't offer a credit, but decided to tell me that it was moths. MOTHS! I ask if the business has moths because the sweater only had holes for my head and arms when they came in for cleaning. I told her that I would have preferred if she simply said that she didn't know, or apologize rather than to lie. She was extremely defensive. I've been taking my dry cleaning here for a while and always noticed the woman doing alterations so I brought a pair of pants in to be worked on. Told her I needed to wear them June 6 so she told me they would be ready in the afternoon of June 5. She even wrote June 5th, afternoon, on the receipt. Living 28 miles away, I stopped by at 1:30 today (June 5) and picked up my cleaning; the seamstress was not there but another woman assisted me by looking for my pants. They were not there and she proceeded to blast me with "deliveries are after 5 - these are not ready - you need to come back" - etc, etc, etc. I said I was told they would be ready in the afternoon - she again rudely told me deliveries are after 5. The owners of this place should really take note here - this lady is not helping your business and if she is a good employee, maybe she should be stationed someplace where she does not interact with the public. As for me, I need these for tomorrow and will have to drive 28 miles up and 28 miles back home after 5 pm and hope my pants are there. It is not worth the $1.95 after a year and half of giving my business to this cleaners. They removed an article from a very expensive suit after I told them not to remove it and the staff place foil and special handling on my suit. To my surprise when I returned for my suit, the hardware design was removed and it was told they can find it and they are not responsible. You just lost a great customer that brought your good business!!! read more

It's no longer $1.50 Dry Cleaners; it's $1.95, which is still a bargain. I've had sweaters, shirts, slacks, and jackets cleaned here for years, and have been satisfied. This used to be located at Towers Shopping Center where it was strictly drop-off and pick-up. Now it's on Route 220 near Goodwill. The new location is larger, noisier, and more crowded, which is okay. Be careful with comforters, and ask if they intend to launder it or dry clean it. I suspect they laundered rather than dry cleaned the last time I took one in, as it came out a bit lumpy. Overall, though, it's a great place for people on a budget, with pleasant service. read more

stay away! you get what you pay for here. two expensive suit jackets ruined because the press was too hot. owner tried to claim that my suits were made in China and this is what happens to them. BS, my suits were made in USA and Italy and they are top quality $$$. I checked with my men's store and they confirmed that the press was too hot. read more

these people were great a friend of mine took her marine sons dress blues and some shirts that had gotten wet and he didnt find out until blues were covered in mildew and shirts had close hangers rusted to them they cleaned all the mildew off blues and shirts are like new the owner was all upset cause one little spot of rust was on the inside of one of the shirts and you couldnt even see it unless you turned it inside out very caring people all service members need to have their uniforms and such done here read more
