Driving down Kendall Dr., I noticed El Toro Loco and, having been to several of their other locations, figured it was a safe bet as Toro Loco never disappoints. This location, at Kendall Dr. and SW 105 Ave, sits in a small shopping center where most of the businesses are closed at night, so parking was plentiful and stress-free. The restaurant itself is fairly new, very clean, and features the same consistently nice décor you expect from other Toro Loco locations. It wasn't too busy, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hostess was very friendly and let us choose our own table before walking us over. Our server (I wish I remembered her name) was knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely helpful, especially when it came to selecting our steaks. We started with the manchego croquette appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. Of course, we couldn't forget the two ice-cold Toro Loco beers, which were perfect. For our main course, we ordered the 1-lb Prime Entraña (outside skirt) Wagyu steak, which happened to be 20% off on Mondays, a great bonus. The entrée came with a salad and two sides; I chose the garlic rice and tostones. My steak was cooked medium-rare, exactly as ordered, and was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Even though the portions were generous, I hadn't eaten all day, so we decided to share dessert. We went with the Torreja, and all I can say is OMG... amazing. A perfect way to end the meal. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner with excellent service and truly enjoyed what could have been a quiet Monday night at home. Instead, it turned into a great dining experience. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to this location soon. Highly recommended!

It's a steakhouse not a bar Overall, food was great. Service could of been better especially since Tip is included

So you don't have to rush out of work to be able to make it. When we arrived, we were seated immediately. Another positive note about the happy hour is that you can have it anywhere in the restaurant, not just in the bar area. To drink, I was going to order the caipirinha on the happy hour menu but the server recommended a coconut one that was not on the happy hour menu. I'm glad I listened to her because it was delicious. To eat, I tried the queijo asado, braised rib sliders and crispy yuca fries. The queijo asado was delicious. It's fried cheese with honey and you can't go wrong with that. The braised rib slides were very tasty. The crispy yuca fries were good and spicy. They fries took a while to come out but it was so fresh we did not mind. The bread they also place on the table was delicious. We kept asking for more. All the staff were nice. Our server at times was a bit forgetful but she was so nice that it did not bother us. For example, we ordered small plates to eat the shareable plates and she forget but we understood she was waiting on other table and she was so nice that it didn't bother us. The ambiance was good. We stayed for a while talking and not once did we feel rushed. I definitely have to return to try the other items on the happy hour menu.

Enjoy the salad bar every time. Wish I could've asked for more Brazilian cheese bread. Beautiful interior.

Our server Marlon approached us and since it was our first time he explained the menu, brought us sparkling water and got our drink order. It was relatively busy so drinks took a bit to come. I loved the lighting and how romantic the dinner was. The salad bar was delicious. As soon as we had our little yes/ no circle for meat the other servers approached us offering different cuts. Marlon was kind enough to bring an order of mashed potatoes. As the night progressed and we ate enough to fill a butcher shop, we noticed Marlon continued being sat. He came by after a while and we let him know we wanted dessert but to go. After 15 min and no sign of Marlon we no longer wanted dessert, it was 10:30pm and we had the itis. Another server approached us and asked if everything was okay, we let him know we were ready for the check. He offered a complimentary dessert since we had waited so long. Upon telling him we were waiting for a dessert already he told us he would check on it for us. Marlon was yet again sat, but he approached us and apologized for the wait. We told him no worries and that the other server was checking on the status of the dessert. We finally paid and said goodnight. I'd come back again just because it wasn't his fault as he already had us, and two other big tables before getting sat with two more parties.
