I rented a storage for six months. My storage was on the top of a three layer row of storages. It…read morelook completely intact and I had two master locks on it so I thought my stuff was safe . I seen dead rats so I bought repellent and put it in my storage because I had expensive things in my boxes. I also moved here two weeks before the fires so I had flown in 10 boxes from California which cost me almost 2 grand . when I talk to the manager, Karen and I asked her, did she watch the cameras with my stuff be safe, she said yes. I had noticed a man sleeping in one of the storages. I mentioned it to Karen, and she knew nothing about it as month went by I seen that there was a lot of homeless people that would hang out in there because it was air-conditioned they would leave inside their filthy .When I went to go get all of my belongings to take it to my new home someone had broken into my storage and stole about $1000 worth of stuff from my storage. Then I seen that there was no roof on my storage. I was able to pull myself up there and I seen that the top storages were all covered by plywood boards making them look like the storage was intact which it was not even a storage if the tops were just play wood boards, and came off so anybody could just move them which that's what happened to my storage and still whatever they want without having to break a lock . Not only was my stuff stolen, I pulled myself up to see the top that was uncovered in my storage. I seen up there and there were sleeping bags, pillows, empty bottle, drinks, food, trash, along with thousands of mouse droppings. So homeless people were sleeping up there. There's also a homeless man that lives in one of the storage units who lets in, crazy lowlife people and the manager knows that he's there. She denied that she knew when I seen him when I originally put my stuff in the storage . until a couple months before I took my things out of storage him and I got into a bit of an argument because I told him he wasn't supposed to be living there. That's when he told me that he had been there for 20 years and the manager knew . I believe he is the one who broke into my storage while he didn't actually break in. He just had to remove the plywood. That was the roof . I asked Karen to please look at the cameras to see who broke into my storage. She told me that she couldn't because it would take too long, WOW!!! what are people paying her for, if I had the energy because I have cancer, I would do the court papers myself to take them to court to sue them. Do not put your stuff in the storage unless you want it to be gone. There are several homeless people that live there, the storage is unsafe, and your things will get stolen if you're on the top storages . Unless I posted at least one star, it wouldn't let me post. My story, the storage facility is a -5 stars.

We Left $100 to clean one unit because we couldn't clean it out by the 48 hour window they GAVE us (don't live on Maui) and she still was upset about it.
