The delivery was delayed twice and I later found out that during that period my belongings were unloaded into a warehouse. Upon arrival at my house in NY I saw that none of the mattresses had been wrapped or covered, none of the bed frames had been wrapped or covered and they all arrived extremely dirty covered in sud. Several furniture pieces were damaged (cabinet drawers had never been emptied putting too much load on the slide-out mechanisms), shelves had been damaged literally from brute force (punctures or in case of my large, custom made TV shelf from Germany, brute force by stacking multiple heavy boxes/items on it. Several pieces never arrived like my trailer hitch, my water fountain (which they actually admitted that it was left in their warehouse, however 18 months later I still have not received it) and some electronic items (3 sonos speakers, an Apple Airport Extreme, remote controls), Original Hong Kong Chinese porcelain pieces were damaged because they were simply not wrapped properly, an art piece had been "thrown" into the TV box together with a transformer and by pure luck "only" the art piece got damaged Their claim offer was pathetic. Denial of several pieces and the couple of pieces they actually did offer reimbursement was a fraction of the value. Although I had Full Replacement Value Protection. Not sure how this fits together. Water fountain has still not been delivered after 18 months, despite their admission for having it in their storage. Guess I need to file a theft charge....

I called several companies, but DDJR offered me the best price; later on, while they were engaged in the work, I realized they knew what they were doing. They came two days after I contacted them; about 8am they were at my door asking if they were able to start. By 1pm they had removed all the junk, cleaned the garage floor and walls, loaded the junk in their truck, and I was ready to say goodbye forever to my junk. Matias, the owner, is a courteous, friendly yet professional guy that took his job seriously; the guy working with him followed his direction so there was no idle time for which I was charged. Several times I showed my face by the garage to find out how things were going and while Matias explained to me how the decloaking process was going, the other guy kept working. They brought the necessary equipment and utilized the time effectively. Additionally, I got a really good price.
