She even brought me some jeans that I ordinarily wouldn't have tried on that ended up fitting me perfectly, so those came home, too. The shop as a whole is super cute and caters to a wide variety of styles and preferences. Sizes tend to generally range from S-L, though I did see some XL. Aside from clothes, Rose and Lee also has cute accessories, some home goods, some dog toys, local Durham/NC gifts, and some beauty products, which all make great gifts! In addition to picking up some new clothes for myself, I was also able to snag some gifts for friends and a toy for my dogs. As I continue to clean out and revamp my closet, I'll definitely head back to Rose and Lee to have Rachel help me select new pieces!

Mynt's original location is in Elon, NC, but Durham has opened their arms wide to welcome them. The owner prides herself in styling your wardrobe and even offers 'closet services' where she'll help you go through, get rid of, and re-vamp your style. Oddly enough, my first visit to Mynt Boutique was for a 'pop-up workout', where Katie Corley came in and took over the shop for an hour. Mynt was offering discounts store-wide and had a jean giveaway for attendees. Mynt draws in an older demographic of ladies: late thirties and up with their trendy look but mostly higher prices. But if you can afford it, what you'll find their will impress: booties, long necklaces, earrings and rings and everything from sky blue leather jackets to comfy one piece suites and styling blouses. It's definitely worth a peak if you need some help in the fashion department.

The customer service representative said no problem and then spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to do this. Finally calling the owner to ask. The owner then said it would not be treated as an even exchange but I would have to pay full price for correct size shirt. When I asked her to honor the coupon she said she would not. And was going to have my card refunded and not sell us the shirt. This is not a business owner that respect their customers. After wasting our time and being told by her staff that it could be done. Even her employee seemed embarrassed. Will not be giving them business in the future.

So my daughter was disappointed since I've been talking about this place. I found an amazing jacket and necklace roughly $105. The items are more expensive here than other vintage stores. I found an amazing leather jacket for $88 and a wool jacket for $120, but a bit too pricey for those. I loved the jacket and necklace I got so much that I couldn't pass up on them.
