My friend had recommended Youthbar to me as we had been talking about her migraines and our RBFs and how it's helped her. She was patient with despite my many questions and talkative nature and when she couldn't answer my questions, she booked the free consultation for me where I could ask all the questions I wanted. My consultation was with Meadow. She was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and didn't push me on getting more done than I wanted. She made me feel so comfortable I ended up doing the procedure! It was quick, minimal pain, and I am so happy with the results! My take on all parts of this business is below. Procedures: Frown Lines - I have botox to correct my frown lines around my eyebrows. While the frown lines weren't terrible to begin with, this is a preventative measure to make sure they don't worsen over time. Pain is like a 2/10 for me and there were no scars. The effects started around day three. It was weird not being able to make my "mad" face anymore. Added benefits aside from how it looks are I'm not squinting at my computer screen, my headaches have been reduced to minimal pain or nothing, and I truly believe my mood has improved because of it. I genuinely feel happier since doing this. Lip Flip - My top lip would curl under leaving a line whenever I would smile. It has been something I've been very self conscious of and originally thought I wanted a lip filler to help correct it. Meadow gave me more information about the lip flip and we decided to try that to start out instead of the lip fillers. The pain was a little more than the forehead since there are more nerves in my upper lip but they kindly put numbing gel on before hand to reduce the discomfort. Minimal bleeding but the results ended up being better than I expected. The lip flip has softened my smile preventing my lip from coming up so high it make my lip curl and now it sits beautifully above my teeth and you can see the pink of my top lip! I'm extremely happy with it and it has improved my confidence to smile in my pictures again. Overall Experience was amazing. Over the course of my treatments this year, this location has canceled and rescheduled my appointments THREE separate times. I live over an hour away (about an hour and fifteen minutes), so these aren't quick trips for me. Every appointment means planning my work schedule, arranging my day, and driving a significant distance. This latest experience was by far the worst. I was already on my way to my appointment and was only about 10 minutes away when I received a text that my appointment had been canceled. The first explanation I was given was that there was a gas leak at the building. Naturally, I was concerned, so I called back to verify what was happening. During that phone call, I was then told something completely different and that the nurse hadn't come into work that day. I understand emergencies happen. Gas leaks happen. Employees call out sick. Life happens. What I don't appreciate is receiving two completely different explanations for why my appointment was canceled after I had already driven over an hour. At that point after being canceled on for the third time, I told the staff that I no longer wanted to be rescheduled at the Boulder location. I explained that I wasn't comfortable continuing my treatments there because I had lost confidence in the reliability of the location. I specifically asked that my appointments not be rescheduled. Imagine my surprise when I opened my LaserAway app and discovered they had scheduled me for another appointment the very next morning without my knowledge or consent. To make matters worse, LaserAway has a cancellation policy that can charge patients if they cancel within 24 hours. Since THEY created this appointment less than 24 hours in advance, I was suddenly worried that I'd somehow be responsible for a cancellation fee for an appointment I never agreed to in the first place. No customer should have to worry about being charged because a location scheduled them without their permission. The treatments themselves may be great, but customer service and respect for a client's time matter just as much. Especially when people are paying hundreds or even thousands of dollars for these services. Driving over two hours round trip multiple times only to have appointments canceled, receiving conflicting explanations and then being rescheduled without my consent is simply unacceptable. I sincerely hope LaserAway addresses how this location handles scheduling and communication because this experience has completely eroded my trust. I cannot recommend the Boulder location based on my experience.

I have been a client at Rinnova Skin and Body Center for years for various services, but I will not…read morebe returning due to my experience with hormone replacement therapy under Dr. Rastegar. I went in for estradiol pellets to help relieve a few menopause symptoms. At a later visit, while describing new symptoms, Dr. Rastegar discovered and acknowledged she had forgotten to prescribe progesterone, which is a necessary part of this procedure. She inserted another estrogen pellet before addressing the issue, and added a prescription for progesterone. Once I started taking the progesterone, for the next few months I experienced heavy bleeding and painful cramping, ultimately requiring an ultrasound at my own expense that showed a thickened uterine lining, which is a documented result of receiving estradiol without progesterone. When I raised concerns about the prolonged bleeding, discomfort, and the initial oversight, the response was dismissive and framed as "just a risk of HRT". Dr. Rastegar held no accountability of her oversight, nor did she offer meaningful support. Hormone therapy requires careful management and follow-up. That standard was not met in my case, and I want other women to be fully informed before seeking similar treatment here.

A while back, I had tried to get appts for a treatment, but was forced to late cancel twice due to me contracting covid and then my elementary aged daughter contracting covid, once I had a cold sore and they asked me not to come in, and once because I am a displaced elementary teacher and was asked to teach last minute. As a displaced teacher, it is crucial to be available so they will call you again in the future. Rinnova charged me for these late cancellations, which was okay. I understood they were not able to fill that slot regardless of what had gone awry for me. It was a short string of bad luck when I've never had issues with coming to my appts there in the past. For my last appt, they told me it would be no problem to reschedule but that if I canceled one more time then they would not be able to book me in the future. I of course understood this to be the agreement and so I accepted the substitute teaching job for the day and rescheduled, and honored our agreement. Everything seemed fine. I just tried to schedule the same procedure a year later. I intentionally waited until summer so that any substitute teaching assignments would not conflict. After booking my appt, Rinnova called me to say I am not welcome at their business any longer, despite having come to the last appt. It is so disappointing to see a business not be understanding about two conflicts due to covid and the plight of a displaced educator. I honored our verbal agreement which they proposed, and they retracted it a year later; and over the phone, made me feel embarrassed and shamed for it.
