I signed up immediately for a free seminar..in fact, I went to two seminars before signing up just to make sure I understood all aspects of the program so that I knew what was required of me to be successful. Dr. Melissa couldn't have been more kind and reassuring that if I followed the program, not only would the weight come off, but my pre-diabetic blood sugar levels and ever-increasing cholesterol numbers would come down. Steadily, that's exactly what happened. Now that I've completed maintenance, I can say that my weight has stayed down to a 5-pound range from my lowest point and my blood sugar and cholesterol numbers remain low. Best of all, I know what to do if my weight should rise above the 5-pound range I set for myself! My primary physician says that with my consistently low numbers that the possibility of my needing medications for those issues is off her radar screen! Dr. Melissa and her staff are outstanding...everyone is friendly, helpful and compassionate. If you have a week where you struggle with food or circumstances that result in little or no weight loss--or worse, weight gain, Dr. Melissa helps you look at what you could do differently that will result in a successful week rather than a shaming as I have experienced in other weight-loss programs (and I've been through a number of them with some success to no success). I am a single mom of two tween, and also juggling a full time job as a national marketing/project manager for a large corporation. Update: I've been getting Botox for over 6 years (mostly in San Francisco) and have never run into…read morethis at another practice. After writing this review, I went back through my chart notes and noticed something I hadn't caught at the time. My first visit on 5/18, I came in wanting to stop my forehead from scrunching, and they gave me 12 units in my glabella. When that didn't address what I'd asked about, I returned on 6/3 and paid separately for 10 units in my forehead, which did work. I've only ever asked for forehead Botox before and wasn't familiar with the term glabella, so I didn't realize these were two different areas being treated. I raised this with the practice, and their records reflect the 6/3 visit as an added area rather than a correction, so we see it differently. I'd encourage anyone going in to confirm specifically which muscle is being treated and what it will and won't address. I assumed I was being treated for the concern I asked about, and that assumption cost me a second visit. The masseter Botox I received was fine, but paying twice to get the one thing I originally asked for is hard to look past. The staff themselves were good but my issue is with how the treatment and this follow up was handled.

Don't spend your money here. See a legitimate doctor. Call your GP, see a dietician who has good reviews from someone you KNOW. This isn't it. Trust me.
