You know us weird beach people don't like to drive over the bridge. lol I am out of network with my insurance and they do courtesy billing for me, which I greatly appreciate. That can be a pretty big risk for a doctor or dentist's office, as my insurance sent me the check that they should have sent to the dentist's office and I'm sure some people keep those checks. My dentist anxiety is off the charts and they are very accommodating and sweet. Dr Burnes is efficient, kind, patient, and tells you everything he's doing so there's no surprises. Went to this office for new veneers after one of them was becoming discolored (a different dentist…read moreand after having them for 8yrs with no other issues). Dr. Cheney advised that I needed new veneers because my current ones were "too big". I was fine with that and paid 6k for two new teeth. Everything seemed fine until a few days later, one fell off,then the other, then they cracked in half, which he fixed (no real questions asked). Mind you. I don't eat rocks or do any extreme sports, and my previous veneers had been on for years with no issues, so when my left front tooth cracked again while I was getting a massage. I called the office and they informed me they would try to get me in a call back. They never did. (Despite front desk claiming she did, but never left a message? As I don't answer unknown numbers) When I called I was told I would have to pay for the visit , new X-rays, and the doctor would let me know how much for the fix, because (and I quote) "don't come to them for cleanings". And why would I when I can't even trust the fact my teeth aren't going to crack or fall off? Long story short, do not go to this practice.

They don't put you through unnecessary procedures and they always make sure you are comfortable. I started going to Tropical Smiles a long time ago when Dr. Addington owned the practice, I moved and chose a dentist closer to home. Big Mistake! I came running back after the other dentist charged up front even with insurance and then reimbursed you weeks later, and tried to complete unnecessary procedures. Wendy and Abby and all welcomed me back and if we didn't just move to another state, I would continue to go to Tropical Smiles. They are seriously the best dentist in Brevard County!
