They changed 14 for some reason but I have no idea why it was just fine and they've completely ruined 15. I'll never play there again. The tea boxes are in horrendous shape. Turned out to be exactly what I needed and hoped it would be. I'm still very much learning this game. My father inlaw got me a fitting for a new driver for Christmas from 84 golf center. I finally scheduled an appointment with them just this past week. I met them today and Chris greeted me on arrival. Both Chris and Joe spent the next hour or so analyzing my swing with crazy computers and raw teaching skill. They worked hard to correct my swing before even letting me pick a club. Then probably spent another 20 minutes or so getting the shaft right. I never felt like I was wasting there time... Chris truly seemed vested in my getting it right. Didn't know how great it can feel swinging correctly with the right driver and have the ball go where it's supposed to. Almost 2 hours later I walked away with a mental checklist (which I wrote down) to help my swing and a driver that is setup for me. I highly recommend visiting these experts. I'll be going back for lessons and any time I need a new club. Thanks guys

The…read more"grass" area is a bunch of weeds/grass with sand under it, they're really cramped together and they're all within 25 yards of an outdoor hockey rink. You can hear people yelling, the siren, the players hitting the boards - just like a real golf course! All of the matted tees are set on a slope going uphill, many of them with dips in the middle of them, so when you stand on them, you sink into the mat. When you hit, the mats can slide around under your feet and you're always hitting with the ball above your feet. Unlike many ranges with mats going up a hill from left to right, they're not tiered/stepped - just on an incline. Of course, you can still hear the sirens from the hockey rink here as well. The balls are a mix of junk and less junk. There were a few decent balls in there, but for the most part, they're all shag balls. I paid $10 for 90 balls, which would have been fine if the environment were better. I would just go to Cranberry Highlands for a good range. They're pricier, but all of the mats are level and the grass areas are much, much nicer. The balls are in much better shape as well. You can ignore the dress code for the range as you're allowed to wear t-shirts and athletic shorts/pants.

The center also offers private instruction for golfers of various ability levels. My husband and I are not "real" golfers; We visited for the mini golf. Currently, the cost for the putt putt is $8 per adult and $5 per child aged 13 and under. When we paid our fees for the putt putt, the employee promptly and politely served us. The putt-putt course was not the most interesting that I have ever played, but my husband and I had fun with it. We skipped one hole because it was covered in some rain or other water, but the other holes were in good condition. After we finished our putt-putt game, I returned to the employee to purchase a small Hershey's ice cream. She again served us very promptly and politely. I had chosen the Orange Blossom flavor, which contained vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet, and I enjoyed it.
