There aren't any greens that are impossible, and there are several yards of rough on each side of the fairways before you get into serious hazards (meaning the average golfer has a little room to miss before being penalized, which I like). And the grounds crew does a nice job keeping the fairways and greens in good condition (though par 3 tee boxes could be improved). Overall, I'd come back and play again every once and I while, but I wouldn't make it a home course because it's a bit overpriced in my eyes.

The carts were nice and worked as expected. I enjoyed the upkeep of most of the course. There were a few dry spots but it wasn't hurting play. Some of the cart paths were pretty rough. My neighbor gave me a driver, and my son and I went to Birdsfoot on a recommendation from another friend. We started out with talking to a couple golfers in the parking lot. They were pleasant people, told us where the driving range is and whatnot. We then went inside the clubhouse and got the tokens for the ball machine. Very pleasant staff, cold drinks in the cooler behind the counter, and the prices of the balls were cheaper than I expected. We got to the driving range, and it was awesome. We hit 4.5 big buckets between the two of us, and had a truly great time. We will be going back for sure.
