The sauces are all good. The service was great. The sweet tea was on point. My husband and I always get the same thing when we go to bbq places. I always get brisket and he always gets smoked turkey. Both were really good. The sides are delicious. The green beans were salty and savory and mouth watering the garlic mashed potatoes with the brisket gravy were amazing. Too stuffed to order desserts but they sounded good. We will be back for sure.

The staff for the most part, look as if they came to work in either last nights clothes or pajama bottoms. Since when are sandals ok to work in the restaurant industry? The girls with long hair, while it's pretty, that still doesn't mean I want to see them scratching their head or playing with their hair. Whatever happened to having it pulled back. Is that not a health code thing anymore? And speaking of that, when did it become acceptable for a server to have two filled drink cups tucked in her arm while holding the other 2 in her hands. No trays maybe? Gross. I don't want her hair in my drink! I guess I'm just old fashioned and like to feel comfortable that my food and drink are being handled with a little more respect. I guess I kind of feel like if the front of the house is that sloppy..... what's the back of the house like?

The baseball/softball fields, horseshoe pits and volleyball courts provide healthy entertainment along with live music Unless you're a BIKER I'd pass on Wednesdays otherwise great for Sunday afternoon with the family nice ice cream parlor

First impression? It definitely gives off biker bar vibes from the outside, but once you step inside, it's way more welcoming and laid back than you'd expect. Good atmosphere, friendly people, and the kind of place that feels like a hidden local favorite. I ordered the Biker Burger, and it absolutely delivered. The burger was juicy, flavorful, cooked perfectly, and packed with great taste in every bite. You can tell they care more about making good food than trying to be fancy. If you're making the trip to Buc-ee's and want something local instead of chain fast food, Rip Rap Roadhouse is definitely worth the stop. Great burger, cool atmosphere, and one of those places you're happy you discovered by accident.

Just a few suggestions are needed: I stopped in for both a drink and a meal and to my surprise was told by the very thin female bartender, "I can only make drinks that are in the system". That was truly a new one on me. Bartenders would usually make any drink a customer asked for. If I want a mixed drink, why does it have to be only what the ingredients are in the system? That isn't customer service. In addition, the bar lacked Midori. (Common liquor) My meal was placed as ordered however the cook came out to speak to a customer and 2 mins into his conversation with what seemed to be a friend of his, he told the bartender the last ordered meal was ready. NOTE: I was the only one there who ordered food. Puzzled again... why didn't he just bring it out with him... it was already boxed. When I received my food, I received a pile 25 napkins as well. That's A LOT!! It was perceived as though, I shouldn't need to ask for any more. My seat mates who I didn't know snickered in awe. As the minutes went by, 2 more guys came in and asked what was the cost of 2 types of shots. Each time she had to walk away 5 steps over to the register to give the price. They too were perplexed as to why she didn't know the prices or why aren't they placed where customer can see them. Which brings me to the menus on the bar. Why are they in a cover like a book? Outsides of the menu are two blank pieces of white paper. You have to open that to see the menu. For better marketing, I suggest the menus go on the outside so it can be visible to anyone who sits at the bar. Otherwise it looks like pieces of white paper in a plastic cover just thrown on the bar. OR change the binder to a 1 double-sided holder OR put drink prices and liquor varieties in the empty pockets. Lastly, 1 guy at the bar brought it to my attention that the same bartender (only one working on a Wednesday evening), was washing glasses in a solution then soapy water without rinsing. Usually there are 3 dips to washing a glass and the 2nd dip should not be soapy water. He didn't want to order another beer knowing he could be drinking liquid detergent residual in his beer. This resulted in a loss of potential revenue. Never a good thing with sanitation is a known issue. Other than the above issues, food is good and the atmosphere is usually quiet. They do have karaoke on the weekends starting at 9pm but not it's highly attended for some reason.
