I never use the "hold open" lever and prefer to control the flow of gas myself. I stopped the pump twice just to double check it. The second time I started the flow again, gas poured all over as the sensor to stop it when it was full failed. I went inside to let the attendant know there was gas on the ground and there was an issue with the pump. The woman (about 50, long curly mousey brown hair) informed me the pumps had been doing both all day. When I suggested alerting customers to the slow pumps and failing "full" sensors would be helpful, she became rude and advised the issue was my fault. I just walked away. As I returned to my car, I noticed multiple pumps where gas had spilled, and alerted folks around me. Several had the same experience. Hazmat issue, staff was rude and condescending, equipment faulty.

She's fairly new and I've seen her a couple times. She thanked me for being so consistently kind each time I come through the line. It's nice to know I make a small piece of someone's day better. They have a wide variety of souvenirs as well. As you can imagine, you can't go here unless you have a ticket, or you're an airport employee, since you need to pass through security. The cashier was incredibly friendly and offered to help us if needed. The prices caught me off guard and I was surprised in an unusual way. Sure they are a little higher since it's the airport, but not by much, and seemed like they weren't out to get every penny they could like most airport shops. We travel a decent amount, so we know what the prices are for a small bag of chips, the average magnet, a bottle of soda, etc. on average at airports. So, if you forget or need something, no worries...look for this shop! Moreover, the really surprising part was they give a uniform discount with proof of ID...for veterans too! How cool is that? Never has any clerk at any airport anywhere asked me if I was associated with the military. WHOA! Thank you for this. See you on the next trip!
