PRO WASH REVIEW: It's been awhile since I had my car washed here, and things are different now…read more They use to hand dry your car, vacuum, and wipe down the inside, but now they do a quick pre-wash brush, and then you go through the wash, and that's it. There are 3 wash levels you can select from and pay for at the kiosk before you drive up to the wash area. I believe they are $20 (express), $25 (diamond), $30 (platinum). I just picked the middle one. The $25 wash gives you the tri-color foam (woah). I didn't time the drive through, but I estimate it's about 1.5 minutes (?) The wash leaves your car about 75% clean and dry. There are still dirty areas where the brushes do not reach, and there are still plenty of droplets left on your car. You can then drive over to the vacuum station to finish the rest of the job yourself if you want. The vacuums have very long hoses, which is nice. Unfortunately there are no rags, so be sure to bring your own. I didn't realize this, so I drove home quickly and spent about 30 minutes wiping off the dirty areas and cleaning the inside. I guess you get what you pay for. For $25, getting your car 75% clean is ok. But I miss those days when someone finishes up the job for you, and gives your car a fresh scent, so that when you go back to your car, it's 100% clean.

Only 1 line inside. Slow moving whenever lotto tics are sold. Drink: Rwanda Reserve medium roast (m. 1.99) -smooth, mellowish, no particular notes tasted. -black as usual. Creamer is dispensed by squirts, not individual cuplets. 3 stars is generous. Slow line discourages repeats. Gas is pump & go-a bit pricey.

I decided to topoff here, and go inside the food mart and checkout the snacks available. But first, why is the price of gas so high here? Because this station sits on a prime location. It's near the freeway, it's near a bridge, and it's near two major shopping centers. This is a high traffic area. The price of gas is clearly posted. Chevron is top tier gas, and it costs more. And now, for my weird experience! When I went stepped inside the food mart, I said hello to the clerk. He replied with a grunt. I thought he was coughing or something. Then another customer said hello, and the clerk grunted again. Then he spoke clearly to a customer about the price of drinks. Okay, this type of weirdness will probably make me go elsewhere for gas next time. Maybe that 76 station where the gas is cheaper? This Chevron station is at Jarvis and Newark Blvd, the Yelp pointer on the map is wrong (on May 24).
