The workers after the cars have been washed need to pay attention to detail. Often, when I walk around the car, I'm asking for better service. For the monthly fees, including during winter where you have to pay the whole amount, you would expect premium service. And about those fees. If it's raining from October to April, most times, reduce the fees or have a hold period. Don't charge the customer during these seasons when the car wash is closed. That is so not cool and greedy. Twice now I've had a poor experience with the cashier. She has curly hair, glasses, and wore AirPods. When we walked in, she was in the back and took a while to come to the register. She didn't greet us, didn't make eye contact, and scanned our items without saying a word. Afterward, she just stood there, so I had to lean over to see the total. This 76 Gas Station is on Newark Blvd. It is the Lido 76 Gas Station. This place looks like a dump, thus the reason for the cheap gas prices. It only has 3 pumps, a small convenience store, a Auto Shop & a Restroom. Be prepared to have cash because sometimes, the credit card machine on the pumps don't work, but you can go inside fro credit card too. You better run fast and far from this station for a car wash. The guy using the power washer cut through the paint on my car and admitted he was trying to remove a bug. We had to contact the facility coordinator who took pictures and the ignored All phone calls. Had to turn it into my insurance and they ignored them. The name on the car wash is Autopia, called there office and got the same reaction. I am surprised that Union 76 would associate them selves with this type of business. Gas is literally dirt cheap here. It's usually 10-30 cents cheaper than other 76 stations. It's even cheaper than the Arco station on Auto Mall. Took out one star because I almost got into a fight with the gas station attendant. I was pushing off all these leaves from my windshield and he accused me of littering. He came out from nowhere and started yelling in my face. It's ok though because he was like 4'11 and I could have kicked his ass if i wanted to. But I'll deal with it for some cheap 76 gas. It's so nice that one of the closest gas stations to home is one of the cheapest in the area. As others have noted, the gas here is usually 10 to 20 cents cheaper than others, probably because it's not right off the freeway like its main competitors (there's a set of Shell and Chevron gas stations down the street on Newark Blvd off 84 and in the other direction, there's another set of Shell and Chevron gas stations off the 880 Thornton Exit). I only come here for gas as this is a no-frills station. There's no car wash and the convenience store is tiny, probably just three or four small shelves of snacks and drinks. That's fine by me because I'm just happy to be paying $3 to $5 less per fill up. Just don't try to fill up here in the late afternoon when everyone's on their way home from work. There are only 6 pumps and the lines will snake through the parking lot. Now, if premium unleaded ever gets back down to $1.99 like it did for a couple of days a few months ago, I'll give 'em that 5th star! read more

Gas is seriously the cheapest at this station here in Newark! Its literally down the block from my job where there's a Shell and Chevron right there but its 10 cents cheaper at least per gal. In this economy, frugal is the way to go. This station has the most terrible roads though and like a lot of Newark, its pretty old school. The pumps are ancient and for the first time ever, it was three different pumps for each octane of gas, instead of a button. To start pumping, you pick up the pump to the octane you desire, then there's a latch that you lift up where the pump was to start pumping gas. Haha it took me a couple of minutes to figure it out. The concept was interesting but cheap gas! And there's no latch for the handle to hold the thing to pump has so you actually have to hold during the entire duration of your session. First world problems. Its located at a corner so it was simple to spot and the lanes are pretty wide. Must come to for gas in Newark just be careful of the pot holes! read more

I came here to get so gasoline because I was in the area to go to the new CVS (old Longs) store, which just open. This station does not have much except for a small selection of convenience items. It is basically a gasoline station like you would find in the days before convenience and gasoline stations merged together into one. Pricing for the 76-brand of gasoline was great compared to the other majors in the area. Pricing for regular was comparable to off-brand gasoline. The downside to this station is that it is a little small and it is not neat a major road. it will take some effort to get to this station in Newark. Overall, it is fine but I would not make a special trip to go there for gasoline but if in the area again, I will be at this station. read more

I'll begin by saying I don't like to bad mouth businesses or anyone. But Lido 76's auto service is one of those mechanics that you should not take your cars to. I took my car there to have them look at my air conditioning unit. When I press the A/C button while the engine is running, it will make one loud clicking noise. I asked the manager what this could be, and he said freon was probably running low. But I told him the AC was still working very well, except this one clicking noise. I said it sounded like when the AC is engaged, it just was not a smooth engagement. He said I should have it serviced anyway. After they had worked on the car, the same clicking noise was still there. I asked them what about the existing freons, the same manager said it was all gone, and he had filled my car with new freons. I thought that was bull. And to add insult to injury, about a month later, my AC stopped being cold. I have since moved from the area and took it to another mechanic. Sure enough the new mechanic told me freons were low. Now you have it - Lido's has lost my trust completely. Think twice before you take it to Lido's. read more

Lowest gas prices in the area! This gas station usually beats the other gas stations by around $.10/gallon. Its a little out of the way for me, but if I am in this area, I love getting my gas here! What happened: I once gave my car for repair. The guy (owner i guess) said he would deliver by a certain day and time. I had to call him repeatedly If it was done. Finally, when I called in the evening again he shouted at me on the phone saying "because of me he had to suffer working late at night". End result: He left a broken bolt in the motor casing and put the plastic cover loose of my Mazda 626. Customer Experience: He is such a way-wardly tounge-loose! I wish I recorded his words and took him to court. My friend had a similar experience and poor car-fix work as well. He has got a temper problem, he better correct himself. This is the only gas station I get gas from. It really is the cheapest place for gas in Newark and Fremont....actually, anywhere that has 76 gas. You can go a qtr mile down the street and pay 10 cents more a gallon at another 76 gas station... Their convenience store doesn't have much, but I have no complaints about the gas and the prices. I know they do smog checks here, but its been over two years since I've taken one of my cars here to get it done. Even then, the service was typical service...nothing superb and nothing negative. The only downside about this place is the driveways...if you have a lowered car like I do, it's a little difficult to get out without scraping your front end. OH, and recently, the pumps have been on 24 hours a day, so you could pump up in the middle of the night if you have a credit card to use. read more

Every time I come here in the morning I have to go inside. For a receipt. I thought it was just my bad luck but 3 other customers from the pumps all had to go inside for a receipt. You have to wait In Line with all the construction guys getting their cigarettes and Red Bull's. Waste of time. Seems like a marketing scheme to get ppl inside to buy stuff. Definitely has the cheapest branded gasoline in the area. The price of the 91 is usually the same price as the 89 at Chevron or Shell down the street. I come here to get my car washed once every month or so and I usually am satisfied with the job that they do. I would normally give them at least 4 and a half stars but after today they get 1 star. I usually get the $26.99 one. They clean the outside and inside of your car. It's pretty decent for the price. I have no complaints about the price and the job. Until today, I went to get my car washed and when I got my car back, my Broadway mirror was broken. I asked to speak to the manager and they told me they they would not pay for it. I understand that it is not expensive type of mirror but they try to tell me that my mirror was on my center console. I know that it was not on my center console when I took my car there. I saw the coworker drop my mirror and the worker try to tell the manager that it was not hanging on my rear view mirror. She told me that they would give me a $10 off for my next wash. What makes them think that I would come back?! She continued to argue with me saying that they found it on my center console. I never ever had a problem with them ever. I come there to gas up my car weekly. The workers need to own up to what they do and take responsibility for what they break in people's cars. They were not apologetic about it either. I will not be taking my car back there to get it washed again. The lady that was talking to me was not even the manager. They should have sent the manager to talk to me.
