DO NOT STOP HERE!!!!! This is a BAD LUCK GAS STATION. I stopped here earlier today to get some gas, use the restroom, and purchase lotto tickets. Bad, bad mistake. First, there is no public restroom for customers. Can you imagine?!?! No public restroom for a gas station alongside Hwy. 80, a major cross country thoroughfare?!?! Then I asked about lotto tickets. They don't sell any there. The worst of it however, was when I was walking out of the gas station. A crazy, insane driver left a gas pump at full speed. He hit one car at full force, and then hit my car at full force, which in turn hit me as I was standing by the gas pump. In fact, I almost got pinned between my car and the gas pump, because the force of the hit pushed my car toward the gas pump! Well, the same guy who was working at the gas station came out looking somewhat gleeful and amused. Never once did he ask if either one of us were okay. Never once did he offer me to use his bathroom. All in all, a very nasty person and an even nastier gas station. It doesn't matter how much cheaper their gas prices are. DO NOT GO THERE! I went here last Sunday to pump gas and tried to pay cash but the gas attendant told me they do not take cash and that I had to use credit card at the pump. I was kinda suspicious about this but because I was already on fumes, I used my credit card at the pump. What a coincidence that less than a week later, my credit card was skimmed. read more

Vallejo Gas and Shop I pulled into the gas station to get gas today, 1/31/22. There were two possibly three gas dispensers not working. I pulled to gas dispenser number 15 and tried to use my debit card. It did not work so I tried to use a different debit card it did not work either. I pressed the help button and then the disabled button as I am a disabled person. No one answered therefore I had to walk into the store to seek help. I walked in and spoke to the female clerk about the debit card not working. She said, "yes we know it's not working." I said I also pressed the help and disabled button but it didn't work. She noted that it too doesn't work all the time. I asked for the owner's contact information. The male worker then said that they are getting new gas dispensers soon. I asked for the owner's contact number again and told the female worker that I wanted $60 on number 15. The gentleman called out of 650 number but did not give me a name. I asked for the name he said Joan the female worker slide paper with the number on it as well as the name John on there not Joan. The gentleman then asked me if I wanted him to pump my gas in which I said yes. This is a problem for people in general but especially for people with disabilities. These gas dispensers ahold be working or a note should be placed on them so people have a choice I'm their decision to walk in an pay. Someone may choose to go elsewhere because they don't want to enter the store due to COVID-19. When you have two or more staff persons in the store they need to assist people with disabilities. In this case because the debit card system didn't work and the intercom for help as well as the disabled button didn't work it caused me, a disabled person to have to go into the store and to still not be appropriately helped. My husband went there on the way to church. The gas was sky high. The DON'T takes any cash ONLY cash and credit cards. I went in and paid for gas with iPhone pay and the transaction came up as credit... I asked the cashier why am I being charged credit when I used a debit card. He replies I don't know ANYTHING you pushed the buttons. I told him I haven't pushed anything. Ask I did was use my iPhone... he replied I don't know anything.... With that said we'll NEVER stop here again. There was NO fresh food, EVERYTHING On the grill/oven looked longer it lived there..... This gas station is convenient to the highway and usually has reasonable rates but I won't be going again because I'm nearly certain my credit card information was stolen here twice. The first time I had made a number of charges so I didn't know where my card info was compromised. But I got the new card, used it here only, and the next day had another fraudulent charge. Tried to call and inform the place but the phone line listed went right to fax and now that I see the other reviews here I'm not sure they'd care even if they answered. read more

I was on my way to Lake Tahoe 2 weeks ago on my motorcycle from Los Angeles, I stoped about 4 chevron gas station before this one! Everything was ok until I pump the gas from this place as soon as I start driving in freeway my motorcycle starts acting-up and I was thinking what can cuz this!!? After thinking and checking the bike we end up to pull the gas tank and drain the gas and YES WATER in my gas tank just right after I pumped gas from this place!!! It put me on a very danger situation in the freeway! Luckily I exit the freeway safely and fix the issue. Went and stopped off here to fill up my truck. The old Indian cashier wouldn't give me my change back and badgered me. I had to sit and wait for him give me my change back, and when he did it was all pennies and one dollar bills. This place is a disgusting hole and I wouldn't want to eat any of the snacks either. The place looks like you would get robbed in the lot or store, it is sticky and dirty. Run don't walk! stay away from this sham of a shop they are thieves!!! I would prefer to not even give 1 star. I stopped by here today on my way to the bay to use the bathroom which we were told it was out of order i than grabbed a few things and when I bought them up the gentleman behind the counter was being a lil strange and than he he got mad when I asked for my reciept. This is the 3rd time I've been shortened out of my portion which is advertised. The people are rude. The chicken has been sitting all day and you can taste how old it's been. The older attendants are very kind and attentive. I have always enjoyed the place. They have some of the best chicken as well. The younger attendants are nice as well probably just facing a harder lesson that each generation has to face. Why all the hate? This spot has excellent freeway access both on and off Magazine. I always time my drives from Sac to SF to include fueling up here. The area is not the greatest but I've never felt unsafe...there's an onsite Starbucks for goodness sake. When prompting the pump for a receipt, if you don't get one because it's out of paper or whatever, the clerk inside wants to run your card again. What? You can't do a printout for pump number 8 or whatever? I'm NOT going to give you my card again, for another authorization. When I've asked the help about this, I get a blank stare, not comprehending my point. In this day and age of identity theft, and the need to protect your bank account and information, I'm just not willing to allow another swipe because you don't know how to bring up recent transactions on your machine to print out a receipt. RUDE staff...we swiped our card but then realized it was diesel only so we didn't pull the pump out and moved to the next pump.....however our card was automatically charged $37 before even attempting to get gas on the next pump...so we went inside to ask about the charge and their words were "not our problem"....long story short had to call cops who basically said it wasn't the first time they had to deal with them and false charges but they wed have to take it up with our bank... avoid this place....there is a chevron two seconds away who had very nice and accommodating people working there. read more

Their gas prices are consistently the cheapest in the area, but I find it very frustrating that most every time I buy gas at their station, the pumps are out of paper, so if you want to pay at-the-pump AND get a receipt for your transaction, you will have to go into the store, and will most always have to either wait in line for a copy of your receipt, or if it's late at night, wait for the employee to finish cleaning or stocking or whatever they are doing, in order to come to the cash register to print off a receipt for your gas. When I questioned the cashier about keeping paper rolls in the pumps so you don't have to always come inside the store and wait for a receipt, I was told "a lot of customers like to come inside anyway so they can buy stuff" (and he was very rude when he said it!). Huh?! Is that their way for forcing customers who would not otherwise come into the store, to come inside hoping while they are there they will buy something? How shitty is that?! read more

The employees at this location are always amazing, and friendly especially in the evening they are always stocked up on the chicken and biscuits! the morning crew could take a few notes from the evening crew, I come for the biscuits, I prefer to come in the evening because they always have biscuits and it's seems like their way more fresher.
