I've noticed that coming to this Costco during the week is usually the best time because there aren't many lines and it's not nearly as busy. The weekends can definitely be a different story, though, so be prepared for a crowd if you come on a Saturday or Sunday! The employees at the entrance who scan your membership card are usually friendly, and the employees at the registers are always nice as well. Checkout was quick, and I was able to grab my stuff and be on my way without any problems. I've never really had a bad experience at this Costco. Whenever I need something in bulk, this is always one of my go-to places. They also have a nice food court! The food court line can get pretty busy, though, so if you're planning on grabbing something to eat after shopping, be prepared to wait a little bit. Overall, another easy Costco trip. Got what I needed, had good customer service, and was in and out!

Normally I don't have an issue with the fresh meat and seafood I purchase from here (Costco Vallejo…read more#132) so this evening I bought a bag of fresh mussels ($13.50). But when I got them home, they had been in an airtight wrapper too long and were all dead. Dinner plans out the window. I immediately called the number on the receipt and spoke to a manager. I told him the situation and he told me to put them in a trash bag and bring them in for a refund. I told him I'd already thrown them in the trash and he cut me off and stated that they would only refund them if I brought them back. I told him I didn't want to hold onto rotting seafood for 24 hours before I could bring them back and he flatly told me that was my only option. Well, I'm out $13.50 and I can promise you I won't ever buy mussels from Costco again. Note to Costco Vallejo: if you're reading this, live seafood should not be stored in airtight plastic wrap for more than a few hours. Otherwise, the animals suffocate which appears to have happened in this case. Also, the manager I spoke to (7:55 pm, April 7th, 2026) was unsympathetic and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience this caused. I guess I expected too much for his version of "Customer Support".

The young african american girl working that night comes out finally an started putting food out to warm up/cook an making the signs for the food, she comes to take the sign off the door then walks off but NEVER buzz's the door to open it as I'm still waiting, she finally see's me outside an opens it, I asked her are you guys closed at 3? she looks at me crazy an rudely responds, she ask's me why, meaning why do I ask, I said cause usually when I come at 3am the door is unlocked an open, she says rudely again "yea cause I locked it", an proceeds to roll her eyes an doesn't make contact with me or anything, an I didn't appreciate that cause she acted like she didn't want to answer me at all had a attitude an couldve explained what happened, apologized an I would've appreciated that more but she didnt even acknowledge or look my way. From my observation she was rushing setting certain food up being by herself an didn't want to let anyone in unless it was on her time an when she's ready, when I come the store is normally open at 3am.

On my bank statement I seen the gas pump tried to charge me $100. So I'm guessing they put a false card reader on the pump. I think some of the reviews are confusing this place with the large full service Chevron near Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Half the photos shown on this Yelp listing are the wrong place. This Chevron is across the street from a Denny's. I was here on a weekday to meet a coworker at around 6pm. I went inside to buy some snacks. There was an armed security guard wearing a tactical vest standing near the door as soon as I walked in. The clerk was sitting low behind the counter. He stood up when I said "hello." The clerk and I chatted a bit, and he gave me a deal on snacks. I didn't use the restroom, so I can't comment on that. The food mart has a big selection of coffee and cold drinks. The gas islands are a bit narrow. It might be tough for an RV or a truck pulling a trailer. Better use the bigger Chevron near Six Flags. This Chervon is near the freeway ramps, so it's easy to get back on the road. Also, Kaiser Hospital is nearby at 975 Sereno Drive. Welcome to Vallejo, watch your surroundings. Be safe!

Secondly bathrooms are not a right they are a privilege. When someone has abused this privilege we as employees leads or managers may shut these bathrooms down for any given period we see fit. There are times when we must control the flow of traffic within the store as well during even on our busiest days sometimes these days these bathrooms will be closed so we can control the flow of traffic. For example if an arvo AmPm is located one block from a major high school some times after school the bathrooms may be closed to control the flow of students and customers coming in and out of the store​. Thirdly if you are going to complain about being charged 35 cents in debt card charges to buy gas or food maybe you should not be driving or eating what your complaining about. . This gas station belongs in a Stephen King novel. Women, if you're alone, don't fill up here at…read morenight. From first look, it ticks all the boxes: Lots of pumps, in the same lot as a drive through Starbucks, it's right by the freeway entrance. But the way it's organized, I saw two near-misses of people backing out of the parking spots outside Starbucks, too close to the area around the gas pumps behind it. The pump kept shutting off every half gallon, it was a joke. Determined to make it work, I tried the catch on the pump (didn't work) then just tried different pressures to keep the gas flowing. After I filled up and moved outside Starbucks. I got seriously eyeballed in the most predatory way by this guy who then parked across the frontage road and watched me from his rear view mirror. There's a weird vibe around this station, I wouldn't stop here after dark.
