Well, I'm glad this gas station was here and that I was able to find it. That was a good news. I was on my way to Fairfield so I didn't have the cycle back and go to Richmond and then come back through where I was in San Pablo on up to Fairfield. But when in line, I noticed that the line was not progressing very well and took a long time. It took me a while to realize that that was because there were only two pumps in each lane instead of three. I don't know why they didn't get the memo, but that third pump is a game changer. They need to have this year because those lines were lasting so long. Another issue is that the vehicle behind me was a truck with the camper trailer. When it was done, it could not go around me because it was so big. Another issue would've been have they gone to the first prompt where I was and then no one would've been able to use the second pump. so having a third pump is really good thing and I have no idea why they didn't do that. But the oil was what it was as expected and I got a good price for it so I was happy about that. So, this would not be my first place to come by because of the pump action and the fact that is very slow. But if I needed gas and was in the area, I may consider stopping by. But I know that if I had enough gas in my car, I just go to Richmond and fill up my tank. read more

Love going to this location for gas early hours. However, the entrance is always congested on a busy days because it's the same entrance to the Costco warehouse until you turn right. But, they will eventually move to the new location (hopefully better entry way). Very clean! I'm an early bird and I usually go before it gets busy. Value is definitely good. read more

Good grief. I showed up at the Costco gas station in Vallejo at 5 PM and there wasn't a line out the wazoo. I was able to drive up to a pump after only one person ahead of me. I can't remember the last time this happened. Then, miracle of miracles, a Costco staff person came and gave me advice about readjusting the position of my car so I would have an easier time using the pump. OK, I can't remember the last time a Costco staff person came up to me and gave me advice. I had driven past a budget gas station earlier and noted the price of gasoline was $4.09. I've filled up my car from Costco Gas Stations from Antioch, Concord, Vacaville, Fairfield, South City and Richmond. All stations are typically cheaper than their surrounding local gas stations. However, I've found the Vallejo location to be constantly cheaper than all of them. There are only 16 pumps (the fewest among Costco Gas Stations that I've visited) but the line moves pretty fast. The only negative thing I have to say about this location is that it tends to have a bottleneck at the entrance and vehicles get backed-up unto the street due to the configuration of the lot. With so much space for them to utilize, they only allocated a small space for the gas station. In conclusion, avoid the rush by getting here early or late. But overall, it's worth the hassle of waiting to fill up since it's the cheapest gas in the Bay Area all year round. read more

I always avoid the short cut of dragging the hose over the car and instead find the proper lane that lines up to my tank fill access location. Bonus that this station has diesel as well. I recently came across a coupe that do not provide for that option. The pricing of the gas makes it well worth the extra hassle. Fuel options for gas consist of only regular and premium. If you want mid grade this is the wrong stop for you. With the recent uptick in gas prices I've been taking the time to keep the vehicles fuels up. However, the lines can get pretty long and go out onto the street. Try to avoid rush hours at around 8am and 7pm. Lunch time on the weekends can get pretty busy as well. I went at around 3pm and only had to wait for 5 minutes. Usually the lowest price in town. There are often long lines at the pumps, but the number of pumps help the lines go quickly. Worth the wait and membership fees IMHO. The gasoline is advertised as top tier; I have had no engine issues for the several years I have been getting my gas here exclusively. One friend planned their cross-country RV route to fill up at Costcos all across the US. I try to avoid days when the gas tanker truck is unloading because I've heard that that can affect sediment in your gasoline.
