Tye and his crew are the best! I've used them many times when I had to go to somewhere and leave my 2 Newfoundlands at home. Also great for overnight stays when I can't bring them! I honestly feel bad for anyone who doesn't live in Vallejo, because they don't get to benefit or understand the amazingness that is Tye & Sarah's team. They will literally go up and beyond to take care of your furbabies (or other type of creature child of yours) the way you want them to be cared for. They take photos during the walks/playtime to share with you, have open communication through an app with all the walkers, they slowly introduce your babies to new walkers and are very cautious about pack walks or individual walks. Super accommodating and understanding. They've never had a puppy client before and they were so gracious enough to help us with our 7 week old pit girl. They'd been walking our 7 month old pit boy for a couple months now and with no hesitation, took on our girl. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for a group of people like them. I have serious trust issues, especially with who cares for my furbabies. I'm super picky so I don't just hire a random walker from Wag! Or Rover. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they're a good fit for other dog owners, but from what I've experienced...no thank you. Before beginning services with VPS you meet Tye (the owner) and when you do, you just know you've found someone who truly cares for animals and is careful in choosing his walkers for his clients. Completely satisfied and happy with these folks! My dog and I have been using Vallejo Pet Services for about 2 months now for his daily weekday afternoon break. Since my partner and I work on opposite ends of the Bay area and have different schedules, we are picky about who walks our dog. Having a big coonhound mix, generally we have been ambivalent about hiring a dog walker unless we really know them, but we didn't have much choice after we moved here recently. On short notice, we called Tye after seeing the VPS advertisement and he came over that same day to meet our dog. Knowledgeable and experienced with larger dogs was the selling point in choosing Tye to walk and talk to our dog. He gets a good 30 minute walk to relieve himself and we get notified when he is walked with a picture, and note about how he did. I admit it is reassuring and refreshing to you know that your dog is being well taken care of, as you would want them to be taken of. Scheduling is easy, as well as getting a hold of someone, even in last minute or late notice scheduling. Recommended. read more

He's a high energy dog so I love that they take him for long walks and runs and really get his energy out. Our dog Piper LOVES her weekly hikes with Vallejo Pet Services! She has a ton of energy and we know that when she is with any of the walkers, she is going to come home tired and happy. They are understanding of her high energy levels and appreciate her goofy personality. We get photo updates each week. I've had dogs my whole life and am no stranger to dog walking services as I've moved all over the country with my pups and am always experiencing different businesses of this type. This is the best service I've ever encountered. As far as logistics, it's so easy, and they have thought of everything from an on-line scheduling system to lock box systems they even provide if needed. The walkers are very consistent about leaving detailed reviews of their time with your pets complete with photos. The photos too, are very cute and some could even be professional. Also, they are great with special needs. My one dog was attacked as a puppy and so has some special needs/precautions to take around other dogs and Vallejo Pet Services was able to adhere to them seamlessly. On top of this- Ty, Sarah and from what I can tell, everyone on their team are just good people. They take the time to develop a relationship with you and your pets in a genuine way which is something of great value to me. Lastly, this past summer I went to Europe for three weeks and had this team take care of my two pups and cat. I'd never been away from them for this long and while excited about my trip, I was nervous to leave my babes. Again, just because it was a longer amount of time, didn't mean that any of their usual amenities dropped. Every day, I got 3 personalized messages about how they were doing with lots of photos. It was such a nice constant reassurance to know that they were so well taken care of. Now I have full confidence whenever traveling that my pups will be in perfect care. When I came home after three weeks away, my home was just as I'd left it. You'd think this should be expected but with every other walkers, when I'd come home after trips, the house would smell and I could tell that not only did accidents occur because they were left too long, but they weren't cleaned up properly. In the beginning when I told Ty about my concerns with this, he was so confident in his team that he told me to get a nanny cam so I could watch in to make sure they were good. I did and they were getting snuggles, playtime and were being watched after in a timely manner so that no accidents occurred. Such a great company! Highly recommended! read more

I had never used a dog walking service before and to be honest was pretty hesitant about letting some stranger come in my house and care for my two dogs, but I'm SO happy I found VPS!!
