I wasn't prepared to pay them 350.00 but I did. after the exam I asked the doctor about my macular denigration. he said I didn't have it. I asked him if it was could stop taking the meds that pretty much stop the progression he said yes. the next visit the technician told me I had macular generation and to keep taking he meds. this doctor would have completely missed it if I hadn't have told him. from there it all went down hill..several people came in and talked to me--ya know like they do in used car lots -that s what it seemed like to me. at last "the closer was brought in." and I was already feeling something was off and I asked her..do I need to take a trqnqulizler to hear this? SHE GAVE ME A CONFIDENT NO..well it turns out tthis would have cost me $6,000.00 out o;f my own pocket. Dr. Allison took his time with me and answered any questions I had, and was very informative. I had to take my child with me the day of my exam, because he was home sick from school and I mentioned that I have an appointment to get a confirmation that he does not have a certain eye condition. He immediately asked me if I would like him to take a look at his eyes. I was surprised and agreed. Not many doctors go out of there way to do something as selfless as this and most just care about the money. He did two tests to confirm that my child did NOT have the eye condition in question by the pediatrician here in Florida. I explained to the pediatrician that I had my child's eyes checked up north by top doctors, but the pediatrician stated, lets just recheck to re confirm. I was so glad that Dr. Allison went out of his way and above and beyond for me and my child. He eased my worries about my sons eyes. I was pleased with his bed side manner as well as his sense of humor. Now that I know he see's children in his office too, I will be using him as my child's eye doctor in the future for check up's. I can now cancel the other appointment I had for my son and feel at ease. What a nice doctor. Nothing but great things to say.

And she quickly tells me we don't take that either. Wow shut down at every turn. I actually just checked my insurance and it is a PPO. So if she just would've double checked or asked me to check my card I probably would've made an appointment. Now I'll never call this place back again and based on my experience, I can't recommend it either. I hope you have better luck with this place.
