Valley Arts Dental TOPIC: HORRIBLE FRONT OFFICE EXPERIENCE This review is to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experiences with Valley Arts Dental front desk staff. As a long-standing patient, I have always held your practice in high regard for its professionalism and quality of care. However, recent events have left me deeply dissatisfied. All of my appointments are scheduled 3-6 months prior and for the past year I am faced with having to double reconfirmed with the office. In August, I had an appointment with Michelle. I called the office a week in advanced to confirm, which led me to believe that everything was in order. Two days prior to my appointment, I initiated another follow up call to confirm my appointment with Michelle, which led me to believe that everything was still in order. During that call, I was informed that my appointment was booked with someone else not Michelle. No one contacted me regarding this change; therefore, I had to reschedule a month later. Had I not called I would have wasted my money to travel and my time. The front staff didn't try to accommodate me for an earlier appointment and treated their screw up nonchalantly . Scheduling got progressively worst. I was rescheduled on September 11th, 10am. I mirrored the same confirmation steps and again was led me to believe that everything was in order for my appointment with Michelle. To my dismay, when I arrived to the office on September 11th, 10am I was informed that my appointment was scheduled with someone else. I was given useless excuses. For example: "Changed occurred on the weekend." I asked "why wasn't I contacted you're open on Saturdays." No response. I asked "why no one contacted me the morning of." I was given unacceptable responses. I don't feel respected by your staff and I feel targeted. I was directed to another location that Michelle is working at. This office has demonstrated incompetence, no respect and unprofessional for me as a patient. This is an ongoing issue. I experienced same issue several months ago. I understand that scheduling adjustments may be necessary at times, but the lack of communication and the inconvenience caused to me as a result of this oversight is unacceptable. I had made arrangements in my schedule to attend this appointment, and the sudden change without my knowledge inconvenienced me greatly. I believe that clear and timely communication is essential in any healthcare setting, and this experience has eroded my confidence in your office's ability to provide the level of service I have come to expect. I kindly request that you address this matter promptly and provide an explanation for the lack of communication regarding my appointment. I also request that steps be taken to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future, as they negatively impact my patient experience. I value the quality of care that Michelle has provided me, and I hope that this issue can be resolved to restore my trust in your practice. I have been to plenty of dentists in the past and have always struggled to find one who is gentle, compassionate, respectful, and truly caring. Like many people, I've had dental trauma before, so going to the dentist has always been something I feared. From the moment I walked in, everything about this office was AMAZING. The front desk was warm and welcoming, the staff in the back was incredible, and the doctor -- WOW. The doctor explained everything in detail, walked me through every single step, constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable, and made me feel completely at ease. I felt no pain at all, which honestly shocked me. I was so comfortable the entire time, and that has never happened to me at a dentist before. The dental assistant/MA was also amazing -- so helpful, kind, and attentive. Truly, everyone in this office was outstanding. I actually walked out feeling happy, relieved, and excited to make my follow-up appointment -- something I never thought I'd say about a dental visit! This was hands down the most pleasant and wonderful dental experience I've ever had. If I could rate this office a 20 instead of a 10, I would. This is top-tier care. I can't wait to go back and I'm already telling all my coworkers to come here. I am beyond grateful that I pushed through my fear and came to this appointment. I've been coming here for over three years. The name has changed to just "Valley Arts Dental" as Dr. Leff has retired. His replacement is the wonderful Dr. Klausner. Dr. K is extremely personable and friendly. He clearly explains the procedures in advance and during the work (I've had multiple crowns and an implant). He will call afterwards to check on how I'm feeling. The staff is just as nice as the dentists. They are helpful with insurance issues. Scheduling appointments are a breeze--and they make good use of automated text messages to remind you of your next appointment and to complete required COVID paperwork. The office is temporarily located across from St. Barnabus hospital on Old Short Hills Road while the original location in W. Orange undergoes a renovation. read more

I had a wonderful visit at Valley Art Dental clinic today. The staffs were very polite and welcoming, from making the appoinment to welcoming me in the office. I was able to get an appointment within the same week I called to make the appointment. I filled out a the pre- application online which saves a lot of time as a new patient. The wait time was not too bad, and the dentist took her time to clean my teeth and took X-ray without rushing me out of her chair. The office was very nice and clean and not crowded. I would definately recommand Valley Art Dentist to all my friends and family for sure. read more

These guys have been taking care of my family' dental needs for over ten years. Excellence from start to finish. I always look forward to my appointments. The atmosphere is relaxing and the care is top notch. Literally pain free attention, Dr Link is really gentle and skilled at his craft. He plays the best music as well. The staff is amazing and always ready to help to accommodate. I would rate them the best in the entire state of New Jersey. Recently found out they also make house calls for the elderly. read more

We stopped going during COVID and while the practice was under renovation but today I was greeted like an old friend by Dr LInk and Michelle. I have seen Dr Link and dental hygienist, Michele, for many years. They answer all your questions, give great feedback on their findings from X-rays and give you information on how to follow up with proper brushing techniques to clean your teeth better and to fight any bacteria in gums. Doctor Klausner is absolutely amazing. I came in with tooth pain, he did a thorough exam and determined what I need my wisdom teeth extracte. Him and his staff made the whole process including the extraction comfortable. I would definitely reccommend him to others. read more
