They recently moved away from the more universal Mychart and implemented their own version. What a nightmare that has been. They lost records and I can't even work with them. I decided to start using a private lab because they offer substantialy more tests for significantly less money. Why should I be forced to use their lab? I assume they didn't like this because they absolutely refuse to load the results into their version of Mychart, despite me calling many times and providing them the results twice. I mailed them and delivered in person because they refused to accept them electronically or download them from the lab. Last visit they told me at least three times they are a business and eventually refused to see me as a patient. Keep in mind I owe them nothing so it is not a billing or payment issue. Go anywhere else if you can. They are horrible.

He is very thorough in his assessments and excellent in follow-up. He will try to find a remedy to every medical issue I have and so far he's good at it. He is a combination of traditional and modern medicine. Traditional in a sense that he doesn't just rely on blood work but he would recommend a double check just to make sure. He's a great guy to talk to, the type that you can be confident to tell your medical issues without reservation. Most of all, he cares for his patients.

Went to Dr. Harmon for years, had no problems with him until a few years ago…read more After a major surgery at OHSU I returned to his office because OHSU said that he needed to take care of me afterwards. Well, my husband had called weeks before and told him we would be there and he needed to read up on what was happening with me because he would have to take over. So I get to my appointment, and he said he didn't know what was going on with me, that OHSU needed to take care of me, and would not refill any of my prescriptions from them, especially not the pain meds, because he didn't know why i was taking them. That's why we called him weeks and weeks before and told him to make sure he knew!! He acted totally different than I had ever seen him act. Treated us like we were the ones who said he had to treat me, not OHSU saying it. I was totally floored, didn't know what to say, so we left. Got in the car and I said I was never going back to him. Hubby totally agreed! So needless to say I had a heck of a time getting the prescriptions that I needed badly after that, until almost dying and hubby finding me the best doctor around. For basic issues like colds and such, he would be fine, just don't ask for help after working with specialists who solve your problem and say he needs to continue your care. He won't do the follow up to find out what is needed, at least he didn't in my case.

My appointment was set for a month and half later, which seemed like a long time to wait but I had limited options due to insurance so I accepted it. They called me the day before my appointment to tell me it had to be cancelled due to the doctor not being approved by my insurance yet! Then I was told I could set a new appointment for January, I said that was unacceptable as I had already waited a month and half for this appointment. I was told that I couldn't come in to see any of the other doctors that would be accepting United Insurance for my appointment, I wasn't accepting that so the woman told me she would speak with her manager and give me a call back..... two days later and still no call back. Horrible customer service! I wouldn't trust them with my medical files or anything else since they couldn't even handle setting up an appointment for me. Ridiculous.
