We found this place after setting up our phone service when we go to England and got it to go with the intent to come back for a sit down meal, which we have done since our first visit. My first dish was the chicken tikka masala with madras version of the sauce which was nice and spicy compared to the sweetness of a traditional CTM. Hubs added vindaloo sauce to his tandoori platter and said he should've gotten the madras because the vindaloo wasn't to the heat level he was looking for, surprisingly. On our sit down visit - I opted to order the CTM as it comes, no additional spice or sauces. The masala sauce was rich and creamy with just the right level of sweetness, and his tandoori mixed grill came out on a steaming plate that smelled delicious and everything was very juicy, and not over cooked to the point of being dry and blah. The owners wife and daughter were super friendly and remembered us from our previous visit even though we'd done take away and it had been almost a month prior, which I thought was really sweet!! This has easily become one of our favorite restaurants in just a few short months, and worth the 10 minute walk from the nearest car park. They take cash (you get a 10% discount) and card (MasterCard, visa, no American Express) so you have options when it comes to that if you don't like to carry bank notes. And the pricing? SO INEXPENSIVE! We haven't spent more than £50 between the two of us, including drinks and starters. Definitely a great place to visit if you want good service, even better food and a quiet atmosphere to actually enjoy your meal and companions.
