So you expect me to go re rack my weights after every set and make my service animal get up and down and up and down every 2 minutes to be at my side?? No sir. Service animals obviously not welcome at this gym. And before the service animal confrontation he said I could not grunt. No grunting at a powerhouse gym. Corporate will be hearing from me.

It one big room, no real dividers. There are a lot of different machines and options. I really liked that there is a separate space just for women. That area/room has its own machines. I wish there were more options in that area. I didn't workout in the women's area. I just went to normal area. Lots of people for a Friday night. I had to find the machines I wanted as I'm not a regular here. I liked that the treadmill area had fans above them, or at least the cardio machine I used did lol. There is a kid space for them to be entertained while parents workout. There's also tanning bed area. In addition, there's a shake bar. You can get regular shakes, protein, or weight loss options. This is the epitome of a subscription scam. The classic "easy to join gym" but they make is…read moreastronomically difficult to cancel. It's unfortunate because it is a very nice gym, but the customer service just isn't there. They do not care about their customers. If you miss a payment, it goes immediately to collections (within a week). They don't email you an invoice upon any of your payments. The company themselves told me that have gone fully digital, so they have no staff or phone number to contact (which isn't true, they have a phone # listed online and you see staff in the gym). Allegedly, it is all online and you can only reach them through email. The gyms are clean, but the equipment is a bit limited (ie. one rower, one assault bike, no chest support row, etc). I would have recommended this gym if I hadn't had the experience with their customer service that I had. I don't think the gym is worth the potential experience you could have with management. Replying to their comment. My balance and fees were paid on time and in full; however, my bank placed a stop on their account because they deemed it a scam. My bank initiated a charge back causing the gym to lose the money I paid from the last 3 months, which they immediately sent to collections with no curtesy notification to myself.

The restroom is minimally clean and the shower is gross. The gym floor has used used machines. The down side the owner does everything via Facebook, messenger and email. That includes membership. They are out of key fobs so any new members will need to wait till they get news ones. The owner doesn't really post what's happening on social media. THey will put a note on the door when you arrive the gym. But am thankful for a gym just wish they would take more pride in the up keep especially for their members.

The lady next to her asks "did she not offer you the 3 months free?" When I said no, she laughed and said that mistake cost me a lot of money. I then had to pay $20 plus $50 to re-enroll in a plan I had 2 weeks ago. So not only did I not get the 3 months free, but I'm also out $70, while they laughed at me. When I asked to speak with a manager, they said they would when they got there, but didn't take any of my contact info. The fact they both laughed in my face about it was awful service. I was fortunate enough to go here for a company trip for a week…read more The staff jokingly refers to it as "fat camp" - and it totally is - but they are very friendly and supportive of people of all sizes. It's not uncommon for people to stay here for 12 weeks and lose 50-some pounds! The grounds are beautiful, complete with hiking trails, a natural bridge, and an ICE CAVE. They serve you healthy meals, about 1300 calories a day, but I never felt starved. You even get dessert. And if you're tempted to cheat, the nearest town is 10 miles away haha. During the day they have exercise classes, nutrition tips, and a couple of other random activities. All events are optional. The classes aren't too intensive - I thought they were pretty comparable to what you might get at your local YMCA. It's definitely an early-to-bed and early-to-rise type of place - breakfast is at 6:45 am and they don't have any activities after 6:45 pm. Everything is taken care of for you here so you can just focus on being healthy. I'd imagine it would be a good place to get some work done if you are a student, writer, programmer, etc. They have COVID-19 protocols in place and say that they haven't had any cases yet. The guests don't always follow them, but what can you do?
