We'll this year it happened again. 6 months on the books we show up and they said we canceled your appointment. We were pissed off. This time we spoke up out of anger. They send an email out to you 3 days before your appointment. It said click below to confirm your appointment or we will cancel your appointment. Well another major issue with this company is they don't answer their phones. You can sit on hold for up to 30 minutes. So we confirm on line. I even reminded my husband to confirm or they don't cancel your appointment. So Monday morning we went in to check in and the receptionist said we canceled your appointment because you didn't confirm. I was pissed off. I said that is bull shit you have canceled our schedule appointments every time we made them and confirmed online. She said to bad you have to do a verbal confirmation. I said that is not what the email said. She said that email has nothing to do with us. I said why did you send it then??? She said that is corporate. ​​To top it off they make you pay in advance when you make the appointment. We had our appointments all paid for. Payment ahead of time should be a confirmation! But no they canceled us again! The secretary said I will go talk to the Hygienist. She came back 15 minutes later and said the Hygienist will work you in if she has time. The Hygienist did work us in. We were so greatful to her! She does an excellent job cleaning your teeth. If it wasn't for the Hygienist we would of walked out and NOT RETURN. They have a messed up policy the secretary said its our job to know the policy's. No its not! What happened to customer service? As far as I am concerned they should fix the policy. If you already paid for your appointment 6 months ahead of time. They should not be allowed to cancel your appointment unless you call and ask them too. Do they really believe we would pay 6 months in advance then just forget about your appointment. Last I checked people work hard for their money. They should be like the Chick Fillet policy. You walk in and for whatever time they are serving you they should be polite. It should be their pleasure to help you out. The staff at this office is very good, very friendly, and very knowledgeable and they will work with you on any issues you may have, top notch staff. This office and their wonderful Doctor, Elena Sangachhe, are able to please my mother who is not easily pleased. A few years ago, she was looking for a new Dentist and I suggested Dr. Elena Sangachhe, she couldn't be happier with her move, and I'm happy about that too. I sent him an email describing how I had been told I need gum surgery, a Tuberosity Reduction, before new dentures could be made for me. This was through Family Smiles of Burnsville. Once again, he surprised me by replying that he would give me another free consultation. I, finally, called to set up an appointment. He answered my call! Then he called me back to set it up himself. I was amazed. Dr. Adarve examined my gums and told me I don't need surgery, if he makes my dentures. He was honest when he explained I've had a lot of bone loss due to wearing dentures for so long so I still will have difficulty with my lower denture staying in. I shared that I have used Denttach7 to keep it in better. He asked if I still use it. I affirmed I am because it cushions my gums and helps with keeping my denture from flopping around. He accepted this explanation and I think he was thinking he is going to recommend it to his other patients who also have this dilemma. Then he said lets get this ball rolling and set up an appointment for March to begin getting my dentures made. After putting up with shoddy dentures for seven years, I am looking so forward to getting new dentures from a physician who has many credentials, including his teachers' award. He still is teaching at the University of Minnesota and is on the board of dentistry. Look up his credentials. I've been to many dentists, prosthodontists, etc, in my lifetime. I have only met a few that shows the care that Dr. Adarve does. He has many awards from the whole time he has been treating patients in his visiting room. I, highly, recommend you go to him for your dental care. I don't think there is any better, especially who still makes dentures for those patients who, either, can't have implants or can't afford them.
