Do not use this company! Junior came out to give my parents an estimate for new gutters at their house. He seemed very nice and gave us a very competitive bid so we hired him and gave him a good size deposit for the job that he said he needed to buy the materials. After that he ghosted us for over 6 months. He kept scheduling the work and then make excuses as to why he didn't show up. After telling him we had no choice but to take him to small claims court he paid us back part of the deposit and said he would pay the rest the following week. He then ghosted us again. I hate leaving bad reviews but just trying to protect others from experiencing what happened to us. read more

Let's start this off by its a weird weird time in california. With record rainfall.... roofers, gutter businesses, etc are slammed. I called 4 businesses and Valley Rain Gutters responded promptly, gave me an estimate.. had my gutters done and ready for the coming storm soon after. Always responsive via text, which made communication way easier than playing phone tag. He is a one-man show so I really appreciate the hustle and the excellent quality of work. Avoid this company. I had Valley Rain Gutters install gutters on my two-story home. Due to their equipment malfunction, the installation team could only complete half of the gutter installation. Junior stated multiple times (4 different times) that his crew would come out to finish, but every time they failed to show up, giving weak excuses (truck broke down, workers were sick, truck accident, equipment not working, etc.). I paid for a full installation, and the job was never completed. I believe this company is facing financial difficulties. Be warned, and don't get ripped off like I did; choose another gutter company. read more

We set up an appointment for price quotes on 2 houses in SLO. Estimator was a no show due to car accident, no problem. Rescheduled a few weeks later with JR choosing the appointment time that worked for him the next day. 4:30 came and went with no JR, I texted and called with no response. Never heard back from him. Since we do not live at the property, getting both my wife and myself there at the same time, twice, to meet with the estimator was not easy and took time off work, inconvenienced tenants. read more
