Cost is high for this clinic, and office visit iwith dr. Waiting in clinic room takes 30-40 of waiting before dr comes in. dr will see your pet for 10 mins. do tests and barely talk about diagnosis. you need to demand your drs time when you come here. money is their business here, not pet care, and i was asked to bring cat in again for follow up, if meds didnt rid the infection. i wanted a 2 week supply if this was the case instead of 7 days. i gave a year after deciding to write this after much thought.

The Dr, told us we needed to put our cat down because he had FIV (he was healthy and not sick otherwise), we sadly believed her and we sadly did euthanize him based on her advice that we should. Later we found it is not a condition that required euthanasia. We complained and were told that she would get better training?!?!?!?! What the hell??? I had someone else recently go there to her and she is treating their FIV cat and did not recommend euthanasia, so I guess our cat died so she could learn her job??? Anyway, so very hurt still as I miss that cat dearly and he did not need to die needlessly due to her ignorance. Additionally, the front staff is often unfriendly and uncaring. At all costs avoid going to this vet. They only care about money not your pet!! BTW, they are also very expensive.

I called and left message on the Drs number and got a return text from the Dr. "Good morning, I'm so sorry to hear about your baby unfortunately I'm not on call Sundays, I don't have anyone to watch my baby". I asked to see if there was another doctor on call, but they were "not sure". I was referred elsewhere by this doctor to take my dog that was having a legit emergency. Of course, I would have paid whatever the amount was to save my dog or have her put down to keep her from suffering/pain. Sadly, she is no longer with me. One would think you would have updated information on the on-call doctor and phone number. The whole situation dealing with the dr and getting the help needed was handled unprofessionally.

I try to help out local businesses but when they are particularly horrible, I give even more free advertising; especially when they threaten me with the "wrath of God" if I share my story. So, I stopped by the place in Flora Vista and made an appointment for Rusty. When I dropped him off Friday, I asked what was the latest time Saturday that I could pick him up and was told 8:00. Just in case, I asked what time was available Sunday. (For the record, I did this same thing when I boarded at Canine Castle. They had pick up times on both Saturday and Sunday during feeding times.) I went ahead and left Rusty and went on my trip. Saturday, I sent a text when I was leaving Albuquerque yesterday to make sure I could still pick him up and was surprised by her reply that she would not be available. I told her that was not what I was told the previous day but what time could I get him Sunday. She said she would meet me at 9, she was closed Sunday. We went down and waited at 9:00 at night and after messaging and calling her, I was told No, 9:00 am Sunday. So I showed up to get my dog and was told to get my dog and get out. She said I was rude and horrible and she would call down the wrath of god if I posted anything. Soooooo, since I did not think I was being unreasonable by wanting her to do what she said she was going to do and meet me to get my dog, I am giving LOTS of FREE ADVERTISING!!!!!!! DO NOT USE outlaw paws spaw!!! She talks a talk but does not do as promised. Feel free to share my post since she said I probably don't have any friends anyway. We do not need bad businesses like this in San Juan County!
