I asked for pedicure yet wanted come back for a fill after appointment I had @ 1pm. She insisted was enough time for both before1pm. I got fastest pedicure of my life from staff that spoke maybe 2 words while she whizzed through process. They weren't busy at all at the time. Then turned me over to her boss for fill. It is so very rude and condescending to speak in their jibberish. They make their living off US citizens so speak the language . They were making jokes at my expense while I was there. So unprofessional and by sounds of things I am not only one with concerns. I left a tip which I regret, the young staff was particularly rude , which there is no excuse for. The owner kept saying honey in a condescending way, again uncalled for. It was not good atmosphere , the clients were pleasant at least . I should given them the tip. If I could leave zero stars I would. I came in on Mother's Day and it was pretty busy. I got a pedicure which was fine not the best. Then proceeded to get a manicure which was the worst I've ever had. The lady was rushing the whole time which led to her cutting my cuticles to the point where it began to bleed. The worst part of it all was that she asked for me to pay before even finishing my manicure like what the actual fuck. Overall, this was hands down the most horrifying experience. I have gone here a few times and there's been an issue every time. I've had to go back in because the clear gel polish they use as a top coat, the guy missed over half of my nail. This time I got my nails filled on Sunday. They looked really weird and bubbly. By the time I got home one of my nails had the second layer of polish completely lifting off. Monday I took a shower and when I got out 5/10 nails were missing half the polish. It had lifted right off the acrylic. The man there also constantly watches TV while doing nails and has clipped me with the electric drill a couple times because he was watching tv. Not a friendly place. read more

If i could give 0 stars i would, been going for years but suddenly they seem to be rushing appointments and just trying to make money off people i had to go in and get my nails fixed a handful of times the same day i got them done and even the day after i went 2 more times in hopes to just have a fresh set of acrylics but instead i am left with uncured wet polish that is peeling. I usually come here to get my nails done and they usually do a good job, but not this time. The lady had went way too fast and I was done within 15 minutes. She has also answered her phone and was talking to her son. I was also getting a bunch of the crust from the liquid and powder off my fingers for days after. Then I had noticed that some of them are crooked and look like they've been chipped. Some of the white tips were also too big on my nail so now a lot of them are separating and coming off. read more

JULY 2021.., Has to be the worst Nail Salon in the area. I have had my nails done since 1996 and have never experienced such rudeness/unprofessional service, not to mention the absolute worst workmanship from a "Nail Tech", which he was more interested watching the TV above him than paying attention to my gel fill. Everything from removing my old polish, applying new gel product, shaping/filing and applying new color.., every step absolutely horrible. Tried to communicate with him and he just totally ignored me, as he talked to a coworker next to him in ''THEIR LANGUAGE"..., I'm sure about me. The Salon DOES NOT follow COVID19 guidelines over capacity while waiting to get a chair, no 6 ft distance or protected partitions. I left the Nail Salon and immediately drove to Cindy's Nail Salon in Sparta which they too could not believe the horrible workmanship. At Cindy's they did an amazing job correcting the disaster.... I will not say I love supporting the store itself, but I love supporting two nail techs in particular. If you go here looking for amazing nails, ALWAYS go to Terry or his wife (you can ask for them when you come in!) I'll be honest, if you go to the owners, they will do a rushed and sloppy job. Terry is incredibly meticulous with his work and loves to make jokes. I have recommended all my friends to these two and they love them as well. THEY are worth the money. read more

The lady (who was I think the boss's owner) didn't even pay attention to what she was doing...too busy watching TV or looking for other customers to get butts in seats. Also didn't even remove the old gel set before applying new color and did not even cover the nail bed completely with the new nail polish color and I asked her to correct it, twice. They tell me every single time I call that I don't need an appointment and they will get me right in. Every single time I have gone there, I have had to wait, and not for just a few minutes. Of course, the polish was not advertised as such and the woman did not ask be before applying the polish whether or not I knew it would change color with temperature changes. I am disappointed in the service I received at this salon today. I could clearly see a brown bubble in the acrylic of my nail and asked for it to be fixed. Instead of correcting the problem the nail tech and the owner insisted it was my nail color and not their product. Their website says "All work is guaranteed" but obviously this is not the case. All 3 times my tips are not glued on all the way and now all of my nails are pulling away from my real nails by my cuticles! Not happy! I will not be going back!!! Went in on Friday night to get my nails filled and on Saturday 3 of them broke. I wasnt doing anything I dont do daily. I went back on Sunday and the guy (table 4) was EXTREMELY rude. Wanted $10 for repaiir. He told me pick color, I kept telling him where I got my polish from and he kept arguing with me saying NO. He would not help me find the color and told me I could have a color change but it would be $25. He fixed my 3 nails, left 2 of them much longer than the rest and didnt file one at all! I couldnt find the same color and he refused to help so I have 3 nails a different color and look like crud!! When he was done (if thats what you call it) I got up gave him $10, he proceeds to announce to everyone (place was busy) NO TIP, and then banters in his language to the other workers and they all laugh. Got a pedicure here last Saturday and after one day the nail polish already started to chip. He also never spoke to me and was in such a hurry and the paint job was sloppy. It cost $25 for a pedicure and I could have done a better job! He also didn't spend any time massaging my feet/legs which is something I enjoy when getting a pedicure. The actual pedi was rushed, she spent her time yawning, watching TV, and engaged with other employees. The "massage" was basically putting lotion on my legs. Alena Nails across from Pearl Vision is the worst experience I've EVER had in any service industry experience. My daughter and I came in to get our nails done for a wedding we are in town for and after being rushed to choose a service and watching them make fun of an older lady who came in asking for a fill on on her gel nails(she had never had her nails done before she got the gel and didn't understand how it worked) I should have have walked out with the little old lady who would not stand for their rude behavior. Another lady came in and told them she had a 2:15 doctors appointment and asked if they could get her a mani in 30 mins..they rushed her to a chair and 10 minutes into her manicure I heard her arguing with the tech that they had told her they could finish in time.. the tech rudely said "I can not finish for you in that time" and that lady grabbed her purse threw up her hands and headed out the door... another missed opportunity for me to leave with her! My daughter and I asked for deluxe pedis and manicures I wanted gel for extra fee and French for the extra $5 on both. When my rushed sloppy pedicure was over I reminded her to put the pink fill in to cover up some light bruising I have under both big toes from running. She pushed back a little but agreed to finish them after my nails... they needed the spa chair for the next victim. She did a sloppy job on my nails and made the white line so thick it was literally a half and half ratio. I hesitated but I softly asked her to thin the line TWICE. There were bubbles and jagged edges that I pointed out and she just said "put them under" (the light). At this point I just wanted to leave. The other lady had finished my daughter in less than 30 minutes and SNAPPED at her when she literally came down on her nails with her own arm!!! My daughter is 10! Wow! When my tech finished my nails there was white polish still all over my skin that I asked her to take care of... she rudely took care of MOST of it then said "you go pay now". I reminded her she had to finish my toes and she said "toes finished". The man there said they did their best and Apparently, they only had clear to coat ...no pink... I said that the bruising need to be covered and offered for her to just put a solid color on to make it right. She said that would be $7 for a polish change!!!! WHAT?!?!?! The next 10 mins was ugly. I didn't mind paying over $100 dollars for the services I requested....I just wanted the service I requested. I asked that they make it right and they just kept telling me $5 dollars for that or $7 more for that. I said I didn't think that I should pay for services I didn't get, but at this point I just wanted to leave...they said I would pay full price or they would call the police! (That escalated quickly) (Am I on candid camera right now?!?!). The larger tech put both hands on my daughter's shoulders and said your mommy doesn't pay you stay here and she gets arrested. (I'm literally standing there with my wallet in hand ready to pay...what dimension am i in?!?) (And..ps...get your hands off my daughter!!!! I should have thrown a fit, but I pursued peace ...regret). In the end I paid full price after being railroaded into doing so. I normally tip 20-25% but left no tip. I guess there is my justice. lol! (I taught them a lesson:/ NOT) I really could care less about the money... I just don't want these rude, lying, cheating misers taking advantage of the people in this town who sadly don't have many options to treat themselves to a spa day. Okay, this review is for the nail place inside Valley View mall in Onalaska; it's the one next to Sears. I have to say they were friendly, but this is the worst manicure I've had in my entire life. The tools just came out of a drawer or jar at the work station, no hygienic or sanitizing equipment in sight. They had me move from chair to chair and person to person because it was so busy. This would have been okay, but because they rushed my manicure, my nails smudged and chipped within one hour because the polish was applied too thick. When I examined my nails closer, I could see the second layer of polish where the tech didn't spread the polish completely to the edges. Within another hour my cuticles started peeling back. By the next day, more chipping had ensued and even peeling. It wasn't worth keeping anymore, and it had barely been 24 hours. Each piece of polish actually peeled off my nail in a complete piece. I know it's terribly bad for my nails to do that, but I couldn't help it. It was the only satisfying thing about this manicure. read more

I wish I could leave zero stars for this place. We went in yesterday, they were a bit busy so my sister and I asked for a waiting time. The gentleman at the door told us ten minutes. I picked out my color and was waiting in the pedicure chair. My sister was waiting for a full set and the main lady sitting there told her to come sit down and someone would be with her in a minute. She sat there for almost ten minutes when a gentleman came up and asked her to move into a waiting chair and went on to call another client to sit down in the chair he told my sister to get out of. My younger sister was so embarrassed and just wanted to leave. I had to tell the lady who had just started working on my toes to stop and I dried my feet off and told the lady in charge that you do not do that, it's rude and embarrassing to the person that had been waiting twice as long as the client that had been seated. I will never come back again because of the treatment my sister received and it's a shame because there's a few ladies in there who do a wonderful job. They even had the audacity to charge me $10 to soak my feet. Worst experience ever! read more

My manicure looks great, however the tech I had was either having a bad day or she just doesnt like to answer questions. It had been my first manicure ever and I wanted a very good experience. They LITERALLY rushed me to a chair. Dirty and dusty all over the place. OK so I could get passed that. She said what do you want? I had no idea on the pricing cuz they are shoving me to a lady quick and she just wanted to get started. This place is horrible, never go there! When I had my pedicure, the guy doing it scrubbed my foot so hard he caused it to bleed. The equipment was rinsed in my dirty water after they soak and placed back in the drawer. Thank goodness I don't have any communicable diseases that could be given to the next person, but what if the one prior to me did. I also have numerous scratches on my leg from his "scrubbing." I should have learned then but I also had a manicure that looked absolutely horrible and had to have it redone. Tried to complain, but owner stated, "no problem with them." read more

ZERO stars after my last experience. I went in 8 days ago for a full acrylic manicure set. Yesterday one nail came off so I called and asked if I could get it redone, she said come in and she would take a look. Today the gel polish peeled away from the acrylic on several nails, and so I showed her that as well. I did that today and said she remembered my visit and said it was more than 2 weeks ago and said what is happening is wear and tear. I told her it was only 8 days ago and showed her my receipt. She said she would charge me 4 dollars per nail she had to fix. I was more frustrated that she had no intention of fixing their mistake without charging me even after saying, "we were very busy, but that's wear and tear". I called there after leaving the store and simply asked how long gel polish lasts on nails and she told me 2-3 weeks. I will NEVER go back there, which is unfortunate because there are several employees who take pride in the work they do. The owner and "Emmy" apparently don't want to give quality service.
