    Cutest roadside soft serve!
Ba Chomp Ba Chomp Ba Chewy Chomp P.

Easy to see from the road. Signs are clear. Oodles of parking. Few tables in the back. Like most ice cream stands, it is cash only. Signs and prices are clear. This is delicious, perfectly ratio'd butterfat to milk, soft serve ice cream. The creamiest. Like Old School creamy. The best part... you can change the soft serve flavor. Yes!!! You can add natural flavorings like blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, blood orange, etc to the soft serve!!!! It's brilliant! I will be back!!!

Whenever I visit my sister in Chesterland Ohio, have to make a stop at Valley Villa! Best frozen custard around.

I just wanted a small cone and even though they said it's 2.5 scoops the staff make you pick one flavor which is silly. So I went with the buckeye since it's more of an Ohio flavor. This happened on a hot Friday afternoon after school was out--exactly the kind of time when you would expect an ice cream shop to be prepared for customers. There were about seven people waiting in line, all separate parties, and only one employee working the front counter. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I asked whether any additional help was available. The employee went to the back to ask for assistance. Reese came to the front, but instead of helping serve customers, apologizing for the wait, or even putting a scoop of ice cream in a cup, he explained that he couldn't help because he was making ice cream in the back. What I found frustrating is that he had enough time to walk up front and have a conversation, but apparently not enough time to help reduce the line. On a slow Tuesday, maybe that's one thing. On a hot Friday afternoon with customers waiting and school out, it seems like exactly the wrong time to prioritize making more ice cream over serving the people who are already there trying to buy it. Waiting can be understandable. Being made to feel like your time doesn't matter is not. I ended up leaving without ordering. There are too many places that appreciate their customers for me to spend my money somewhere that doesn't. As for the ice cream, I never got the chance to try it. Based on the service alone, I'll be getting my desserts elsewhere.

For a gluten free version we had the fried green tomatoes on a separate plate. They were kind enough to put the yolk spread in a cup for the tomatoes as well. Nice touch. Love these deviled eggs. Big fan. I did share the full rack of their amazing ribs with my son and we ordered an extra side of their unique baked beans. Their sauce is so far from the basic!! The spices and red peppers were a great addition. I'm also a big fan of sweet potato fries. Can never get enough. We also had a member of our family request a mock tail and the bartender came to the table to help make a spectacular tequilaless sunrise selection. They really take the extra step here along with providing compostable take home containers. Thank you for being environmentally responsible.

The whiskey tasters and homemade cocktails were absolutely awesome as well, and I can't wait to try another. We were all satisfied with our food, but the biggest disappointment were the sides. Looking at other pictures, and trying our "Fresh Cut Fries," we immediately knew that ours were from a frozen bag of generic fries when compared to the beautifully cooked homemade ones. The macaroni and cheese was also bland and not a table favorite. Aside from that, we loved the brisket sandwich, BLT, and the turkey wrap. Overall, the service is fine, our waitress was nice and the bartender rushed over to greet us when we walked in.

We were welcomed with a delicious smell as soon as we walked in, but was surprised to find that we were the only guests there. As such, service was quick, and the man who served us was very nice. We ordered takeout and I was so excited since I love Indian. When we arrived the food was not ready and the place was dimly lite and completely empty. It was over lunch time so I was concerned when it was empty. We paid and took the food home to eat. Both dishes we got were oddly colored and had little to no meat. The rice was horrible, the sauce had no flavor. It honestly was inedible. I took one bite and spit it out. It smelled weird and rancid, and was so awful I feared we would get food poisoning. This place should be shut down, Dingy dark, the back room is filled with trash it looks like. Oh and besides inedible food you pay a lot for the food you get it's overpriced. Something feels extremely off and I've never had an experience this bad before. To not be able to eat the food it's so disgusting, is ridiculous!

He said the special was chicken parmigiana so I thought I'd try it. He brought us a very nice bread with a tasty butter and olive oil mix. I ordered the chopped salad that I absolutely loved! There were lives of cauliflower, different types of olives and a pickled red onion that wasn't over bearingly strong. The chicken parmigiana was tasty. Two patties if chicken over fettuccini. I noticed on the way out that eggplant parmigiana was also a special. I might've had that if I'd known. I will definitely come back on a Tuesday to try the eggplant. I might also come back to try their pizza. Nice place. Give it a try!!!

If you didn't know better and walked in the first time, you'd say, "This looks like a BBQ spot!" Of course, it was. Hanging a few doilies and Italian aperitif posters doesn't help. The delicate and frankly, pretty dishes are disconcerting against the rough and tumble tables and chairs place you in the wrong mindset. It just doesn't work. My Bolognese Cavatelli was very good, but my wife felt the Eggplant Parmigiana was simply a cheesy clump, the skin tough and stringy. An excellent bread service goes in the win column. Unfortunately, this was like eating quenelles and lobster on a paper plate washed down with Champagne in a plastic flute.
