Reese came to the front, but instead of helping serve customers, apologizing for the wait, or even putting a scoop of ice cream in a cup, he explained that he couldn't help because he was making ice cream in the back. What I found frustrating is that he had enough time to walk up front and have a conversation, but apparently not enough time to help reduce the line. On a slow Tuesday, maybe that's one thing. On a hot Friday afternoon with customers waiting and school out, it seems like exactly the wrong time to prioritize making more ice cream over serving the people who are already there trying to buy it. Waiting can be understandable. Being made to feel like your time doesn't matter is not. I ended up leaving without ordering. There are too many places that appreciate their customers for me to spend my money somewhere that doesn't. As for the ice cream, I never got the chance to try it.
