I finally got to stop inside Valley Vintage a few weeks ago. Cute shop with great inventory! From the outside, it looks like only one level, but there are two floors below street-level. Each area of the shop is well curated and items are displayed with thought and care (I thought the basement was organized well IMO). I spent about an hour and a half at Valley Vintage to hit all of the areas, and some time was devoted to flipping through their records. This was well organized and some good finds. I ended up buying a copy of the original soundtrack from The Man from U.N.C.L.E. on vinyl for around $13. It was in good condition and plays. If you like nostalgia and vintage shopping, visit this spot. You may find something one-of-a-kind that appeals to you. read more

What a cool store! Went there to try and find a 70's era retro shirt that I could were to a theme party. I spent the better part of an hour wandering the various floors to try and find something suitable. They have so much cool stuff that I could have easily spent the day there but I was in a mission. After striking out, one of the owners that she might have something for me. The problem was where she put it. It took her about 10 minutes and then voila, there is was. Driving through "the Oranges", I spotted an old Exxon sign and some other vintage items in front of Valley Vintage and I immediately pulled over to find a parking spot to check this place out. Unfortunately, they were already closing up so I promised to go back the next week, and I'm glad I did! Located in a really distinctive (and slightly industrial) looking structure, this is one of those stores that our hero in an 80's film would have found an artifact or a map to treasure. Valley Vintage lives up to its name, with items going back to the early 1900's all the way to only a few years ago. They also seem to set up their displays based on season. When I visited Easter was a week away so there were rabbits *everywhere*. What I really enjoyed was the way the store is laid out. There is a huge main room when you first enter (with lots of small aisles and corners to explore) but then you go through a door in the back and you step down into two other rooms including the basement. It really does feel like you are exploring some forgotten place with artifacts to be discovered. In one corner there were old suitcases, nearby an old rotary phone, near that a pile of vinyl records (and more). As one customer told me "I come here every week and find something new!". Stopped in here after passing it numerous times in my travels and you would be surprised how big it is. There are two floors and several rooms crammed with all kinds of vintage-y and thrifty things. If you're into kitschy, retro or just otherwise vintage things I'd absolutely say come here to at least take a look. The things they have range from what you'd expect like 80's or before dinnerware and toys and albums to really random things like old presidential campaign buttons, Old oriental room dividers, vintage company or brand signs and rotary telephones that I'm sure still work and much more that I'm sure I overlooked. If you're into thrifting like me, you could spend a considerable amount of time checking every little nook as you could find that vintage nugget you're looking for. It also helps that the staff here are nice so points for that too. read more

First this a great place to look around. However the dealers do not do a great job on their booths particularly in the basement. Stay away from the basement, where mold and dishevelment take hold. But my greatest displeasure is with the pricing. It's way over the top. Smelly moldy books were $48. I would go back to look as there is a lot to look at, but I would not pay the high prices. I love this shop. Multiple vendors of vintage goods housed under one roof. Fantastic selection of home goods, furniture, some clothing and lots of great records! Could get lost in here for hours! This is a really fun place to explore and potentially find a gift or cool item to decorate your home. In the past, I've bought 100 year old post cards as gifts and today bought a vintage beer tray that's in great condition. I appreciate the eclectic mix of interesting items in solid condition. I could stay in here for hours! In fact, I have stayed in here for hours LOL! One of the few places in northern New Jersey I love to visit and just peruse. I rarely leave without buying anything. I purchased an analog film camera a few months ago and still use it today, it's in great working condition. Staff is nice and helpful if that is what you're looking for, but you're welcome to explore the three floors of knick knacks yourself. So so much to see, can't wait til my next visit :) read more

Wonderful owners! Very nice to talk to. I as looking for vinyl records, and was surprised to see how many MORE albums they have in the store than the pics (as posted to Yelp) made me believe. The prices are very very fair, and I bought much more than I thought I would. The albums are organized to some degree, despite parts of the collection in different parts of this very cute vintage/antique store. This may be the cleanest and neatest store of it's kind that I have ever seen! Very pleasant shopping experience, and I will definitely be back. read more

Love this store. So many helpful friendly employees, lots of neat well-maintained booths and lots of Halloween collectibles which I haven't found in many antique shops. Prices are reasonable and some booth owners will haggle. Love the giant postcard collection. It's super organized in binders And labeled boxes. The Victorian calling cards are nice too. Unlike a lot of the new overpriced, gallery setups that seem to be popping up more and more, VV has a cool vibe, good music, and a nice selection of items.
