My realtor assured me numerous times that he would be working in my favor, and would help find a competent home inspector. As it turned out, this couldn't have been further from the truth. When we asked the realtor to do a the walk-through as we were out of state, he said "no worries." When we moved in, it was more than obvious that the house had not be anywhere near thoroughly inspected--broken/un-useable toilet, broken hardware on doors and windows, electrical switches that did not work or relayed to other appliances--things that ONLY someone who did not inspect the home, but was just in it for the $$$, or a pay off by the seller, could miss. When after moving in, we asked for the help that was due to us, excuses were made by Keller Williams for both the lying, thieving realtor and inspector.
