I purchased 2 home entertainment sets, a sectional, and sofa love seat combo June 2024. Delivery of…read moremost of these items were in July. Within maybe 3-4 months the sectional started peeling. When I reached out to David at HomeLife Furnishing he said the manufacture had a one year warranty on the sectional but that only the pieces of the couch that were peeling would be replaced. At that time I had requested to return the couch because I figured the peeling would continue but David said that couldn't be done. So instead, 2 pieces of the sectional were replaced. Fast forward, we have had the sectional for 1 year and 3 months and it is still peeling. The sofa/love seat we purchased is the same material as the sectional but I did not have the same issue. The sofa/love seat gets plenty of traction but so far I haven't seen any sort of cracking or peeling. After spending almost $7K in the store I am really disappointed in the quality and the lack of customer service to address the sectional. I definitely understand quality has certainly changed throughout the years and nothing lasts forever, but I shouldn't have to replace my sectional after only having it for a year! $1600 plus down the drain.

I have a ton of stuff to be framed, and brought the first project in a few few weeks ago, which would be a bit of a challenge: the original artwork was signed on the mat--which had become stained over the years--but I wanted to somehow preserve the signature. William did a great job reframing the artwork and preserving the original signature. I've recently dropped off a second piece of art to be reframed; I hope to gradually make progress filling my walls with beautifully-framed art that's been sitting in the back of closets, or stored unframed until now. She bought it in 1967 and had it reupholstered 18 years ago with beige silk brocade with very faint pink highlights. This couch was for guests when they visited. She passed and left it for me, knowing that I would take care of it. Even though it is beautiful, it is a very light color and I am concerned about that because I am going to use it every day so I had a cover made for it. This is where Pieced on Earth, Janet and her staff come in. I chose a deep green suede material. The first time I saw just one pillow completed, I almost cried. It is absolutely beautiful. She personally designed the covered for the rest of the couch adding customized touches that made it look so close to upholstered that I just had to hug it, I feel all the love she put into it. I discussed the history and she understood my desire to honor my mother and take care of it. Her attention to detail is a testament to her craftsmanship. She wanted to make sure I am happy. And I tell you she made me so very happy. I just wanted a customized slip cover. She discussed piping details with me, that I didn't even think of and how she secured the bottom looks almost like she removed the existing fabric and covered the frame. It is beautiful. She even detailed the base at the of the back of the couch cover. The curved section was a little tricky, but she took her time and looked at it checking with me to make sure, it was to my liking, I also told her it was too low for me. Solution, she had me order some 6 "wooden legs that look simply fabulous, like they were there all along. As we discussed the cover, I got a good feeling, she understood how important this process was for me. She is so personable and talented. I trusted her with a couch that has a lot of history and she respected it, took care of it and covered it with love. She is just the best and I am so glad I met her. Fairfield was close. We were in heaven when we walked through the door. Rick was fabulous. I have a very fragile back and my daughter has issues with hers. Rick knew right where to begin to look. We tried about 7 different mattresses, but I kept going back to the one that I eventually bought. (It was the black Helix mattress by the window!) Within days, my back began to realign and I feel like I'm actually getting SLEEP. Akin delivered it to my house, and he took my old mattress.
