At first all seemed pretty good but after a year of warping cabinet doors and non closing drawers make us realize we did not get what we had paid for. They tried to fix the drawers without sucess and offered magnets to close the warped doors. His supplier would not warranty the doors and now we have what we have, no satisfaction, and disappointment Tom is a nice guy, but we feel we were dismissed and that was surprising. We like him personally but we're not happy at all with the conditions of the emd product. We had to "settle" for what we got.

The contrasting colors used with a glaze on all the cabinetry has brightened the home to new heights. Every cabinet and drawer softly close every time you push them in the right direction. From the toe-kicks until the final trim being completed Tom spent countless hours creating the home of our dreams. This is our 10th and final home and it is the best craftsmanship we've experienced in a woodworker and cabinet maker. You can depend on excellence in every step of your home remodel project with Tom in charge. His recommendations on other services provided were as exemplary as he was. I would wholeheartedly recommend Tom Simons, Tubac Woodworks for any home remodel job you can dream up. His pricing and his subcontractors prices were much lower in cost then we expected for the work we got done. It's spectacular, simply spectacular. Lyle & Terry Green Valley Arizona

I reluctantly started a kitchen remodel because it felt so overwhelming on where to start, but I…read moredid so because my wife had been asking me for a new kitchen for a couple of years now. From the first conversation with Rick Chao about my budget, my concerns and my wife's wish list, I felt more at ease. Rick went over our options with us, the various features and quality and helped my wife and I agree on a kitchen that we would both be happy with. I really appreciated the level of professionalism that Rick brought to the table, there were no surprise cost, the installation was impeccable and even though the install was completed 1 day late, Rick was proactive and contacted me prior to the deadline to let me know there was an issue with a delivery hence the delay. Rick is going to be my go-to cabinet guy for Arizona!

Right Choice was recommended by my builder. Unbeknown to me as to why, besides prior experience…read more Now granted, Rick Chao himself, installed my cabinets and for the majority of the work he addressed most of my concerns. However, I wish he would have designed our cabinets. Upon taking delivery and initial install, the builder specifically spelled out on the floor the appropriate dimensions for the bathroom vanities and ended up being oversized and had to remove and receive some sort of credit (still wondering how my handles supposedly offset that), but my primary gripe with this whole endeavor is that I feel my cabinets were unfinished. Excuse I received was that the proposal they put together was for a 2cm countertop (which they did not receive the bid) and I ended up going with a 3 cm countertop and they said that because the cabinets were designed with a 2 cm that the plywood ended up not being finished due to raising the countertop. Now, in my entire experience of constructing a new home; it is evident to me that there is no accountability for any of the subcontractors I've dealt with. Hence, I'm struggling to recommend these folks yet I'll still give them a decent review because they appropriately know how to charge and not back up the 'white glove' delivery per their bid. Rick is an awesome guy; but felt like he was trying to convince me to not patch the exposed OSB to not make it look like it was a cabinet issue but more of a countertop issue. So buyer beware of their lack of accountability. It was proposed that I should quote a stainless steel finish to make it look the countertop guys screwed up.

However, after living in Tucson for 2.5 Yrs now, I felt I had to warn potential clients of what I am finding not only with Valle, but unprofessional contractors and Vendors that do not want to work or care about it. These companies show 5 stars but do not seem to offer the service or return calls. So, not only with Courtney Cabinets, but I will also be yelping about many of the other companies I have found on YELP. I have interviewed over 10 cabinet companies with no reply, just promises, then I never hear from them. Same with plumbers, drywallers, stucco companies etc. It is just mind boggling and I hear it is an issue here in Tucson. When I reached out to Courtney Cabinets via phone calls and followed up with additional phone calls no response. I wanted to let others know the lack of their professionalism and say, "Stay Away From Courtney". I have a three-time rule now, you ignore me then I am moving on as it is obvious you do not need business or a job. At least let a potential client know upfront, you are either too busy or not interested then provide excuses and lies you cannot meet up too. When I had my showroom in CA, customer service was performed to all our clients, hence why were slammed due to our response. Never EVER leave a client or potential client hanging. It is rude, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. I told my employees ALWAYS return a call and never lie to the clients. It is harder to remember lies than the truth. Sadly, this new generation does not understand this concept, customer service skills or professionalism. Hell, they do not even know how to sign their name in cursive.
