We needed custom bullnose and T-molding for our Aqua Guard 'Cerise' premium laminate flooring. Cesar precisely matched a durable walnut hardwood for our high traffic stairway. We were provided a recommendation from Floor and Decor to use this company when we were not able to get a stair nosing from FD in a timely manner. We called Vallin Bros and they were fantastic and fast. However, when they arrived with the product it looked different than the SKU I'd provided them. They claimed it was "a modified product from what we'd requested and it would work perfectly". Not knowing any different, I was just thankful for their speed and accepted the order. When our flooring contactors arrived they said this was completely the wrong product and couldn't be used on the stairs. We had multiple contractors attempt to make this work and they all said it couldn't be done - even a city inspector said the purported modification wouldn't work on stairs. We contacted Vallin and they insisted it would be fine and said they would show us photos of it working properly on stairs - they never provided any completed photos, presumably because this product doesn't work. After going back and forth they agreed on a refund and we could part amicably. I have now waited 3 weeks and sent multiple messages, texts, etc. They have ghosted me and will not honor their own commitment. I'm having to move forward with legal action - which I told them repeatedly I wanted to avoid. Such a shame - they seemed like they might be a great place at first, but they are lacking ethics. read more

Vallin Bros Contractors was the best contractor I have used in a very long time! The guys are great! They showed up every day at the specified time, stayed and cleaned up each day. Their work is so professional and all of them were some of the most courteous gentlemen I've seen in a long time. Our job consisted of removing existing wood floors (that must have been put down with some kind of glue they use in the Apollo Rocket ships and consequently took a lot longer than any of us anticipated but they were so professional each day even though it was an awful job) and removing carpeting and replacing with laminate flooring nearly everywhere! Also stripping and painting stairs. Such good workmanship throughout!! Cesar and his brothers are such nice guys, a pleasure to work with and so conscientious to every detail. I called to request an estimate on 2 bathroom remodels and kitchen remodel and full flooring in the whole house as well as paint interior and they said they were booked for the weekend but would try to squeeze us in if they could and would call. Weekend came, no call. I text message them that I can also do weekdays. They messaged me that they were sorry and would message me Friday to let me know when they could come Saturday. Friday came, no text or call. Saturday, no text or call. Waste of my time and also unprofessional. It's understandable that they may be busy but that's just rude and unprofessional. The Vallins crew just installed a Versailles pattern Travertine tile in our Master Bedroom and once again, they did a great job with the installation and were very professional and kept the surrounding area very clean throughout the installation process.
