He referred me to his colleague Devon who knew exactly what I wanted and gave me recommendations for other beers like it. Customer service is always good from the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted asked how I'm doing and if I needed help finding anything! To the cashier with the kind, small talk! The dude is a huge tailgater so we wanted to grab some alcohol to sip on while we tailgate. Anywho, the dude informed me he would come here with his dad before games. I was honored to be apart of the tradition. I LOVE going into wine and spirit shops as I love to add bottles to my collection. I viewed the whole shop while the dude was looking at beers for him. I went over to the owner to see if they had Electra to give to my dudes grandma as she loves wine. The owner said he doesn't have it and I recommend to him to carry that and Stella Rosa black which he didn't have either. I got a sweet wine for the relatives and chatted with the owner for a while. The owner informed me with each purchase you get a free bag of ice! Which you cannot beat and free gift wrap. I absolutely love this shop! I definitely will be coming back if I am in the area as it is located in the Bay. If you have a chance to stop by. I would recommend. They even had HUGE bottles of wine/alcohol. For some reason they do not like when a customer ask questions and recommendations for various wines & spirits. Seems I am not the only one that gets the eye roll (see other experiences below). Does not makes sense to do when a customer comes into the store to spend a lot of money on gifts for co-workers and the Jackson's staff is arrogant with communications . And it always is the same staff members who have condescending behavior . Maybe the staff should be humble when customers ask questions and suggestions for wine and spirits. Don't they want to sell products? I can just go down the street to BEV MO where the prices are cheaper and staff is helpful. Also, Safeway prices are lower and there is always friendly helpful staff in the wine & spirits aisle. The wine & spirits are the same at both Safeway and Bev Mo so I don't see the point of purchasing from Jackson when it is turns into a horrible experience.
