I scanned the QR code hanging by the front door, filled out the forms, definitely easy . She took me back to the super nice & clean piercing room, she wanted to look at my tongue and come to find out I have a "center vein" so I can't get it pierced. Which I totally understand. For safety reasons. So I went with my second option, the other side of my nose as I have the right side done already I got the left side done. Very sterile process, gloves and new products were opened. We walked me through the process and pierced me. The placement was absolutely symmetrical and perfectly even with the right side. I looked in the mirror and it looked PERFECT. Not only was Eryn good at her job, she was funny, sweet, kind and informative... I will DEFINITELY be back ! I had to go see…read moreanother artist to get fixed what I could, and the owner of Vivid Ink chose to keep my deposit after respectfully explaining my concerns with his work and canceling my future appointments a month and 2 months in advance. This was a cover up and rework piece and the owner gave me little to no options on it while making it sound like it was impossible to do and coming across very crass when I voiced any ideas or concerns about a large piece of ink that would be on my body for life. I paid and tipped them very well for work I was very unhappy with and not what I asked for with unnecessary shading in one part that has to get corrected, and still thd last jab was not even being willing to refund a $100 deposit. Highly stressful experience to end a stressful experience of a 13 year old bad tattoo being made into a worse tattoo until I try to have it fixed. I wish there would've been more collaboration and empathy and professionalism in the work and communication. I also feel it would've been more professional and safe feeling to show any needles being used being opened to the client, and disclose ink ingredients.

After searching google and yelp reviews for shops that did ear piercings we settled on this shop…read moreand overall the experience was fantastic. We were able to get an appointment quickly with a piercer who has been in the business for 17 years, which is great to have someone with all that knowledge. It took about 20 minutes to get through the paperwork and have the earrings sanitized and when my daughter sat down she spent additional time walking her through all of the steps and expectations - we were never rushed and all questions were respectfully answered. When my daughter got nervous she stopped and calmly walked her through it and waited until she was fully ready again. The piercing sites were marked where my daughter was able to see before hand and adjust as desired, everything was cleaned and then after the piercing she applied a cold saline cloth which my daughter loved. It has been two weeks and so far the piercings haven't caused any pain - we followed the advice to not turn and clean with saline spray only as needed, which is the exact opposite advice I received decades ago and it has worked fantastically. Also, the earring she got had flat backs so they don't poke into her head, which has also provided better comfort then the shopping mall piercing I received as a child. Additionally, we go back after 8 weeks for them to update her earring size, which provides a smaller rod through her ear since the current earring is longer to account for swelling - this is a great option which I wasn't expecting, there is a lot of thought that goes through this entire process! I highly recommend this for a first piercing for your child. It is far more expensive than a mall piercing but such a better experience that it is definitely worth it!

No response. Ended up taking an Uber over there (we were staying at a hotel downtown) to see if in person would yield a better response, only to be told they're "by appointment only."
