This place if you go into it with a roommate is not a bad price. It is pet friendly with plenty of grass space for kids and pets to play and run around. There are two full bathrooms in a two bedroom apartment allowing for each room to have their own space. Great apartment for college students since it is close to campus. This place is scamming people out of their money! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. First things first, the deposit here is $300. Today I received a "refund" of $113 back from the deposit. Why not my whole $300???? Apparently tenants are responsible for paying to have carpets cleaned! First off, the apartment was SPOTLESS upon moving out! Second, of all of the apartments I've ever lived in I have always received my full deposit back. I have never heard of me be responsible for "carpet cleaning". So pretty much I had to pay for someone else to move in. Okay so the second little mishap happened August 6th, 2018. Melissa(property manager) was out of the office August 3rd, 2018 when I went to go pay rent. Office hours are 8-5:30, I may have went a couple of minutes after five. Fast forward to that Monday which is the 6th. I go in to pay rent because like I stated, no one was in the office. The money order even had the purchase date and time. I walk in and she says that it's late and the late fee is $100! So her and her little assistant swore that they were in the office that Friday evening. I told her that I wanted to talk to someone higher than her because I was not about to give her an extra $100 because she left her job early! So about ten minutes later I receive a phone call from her saying "oh I forgot I did leave the office because of a dentist appointment, you can just forget about that, I have a couple of others I have to call too". Even though I was not going to give her $100 anyway, why would multiple strangers tell you the exact same story about no one being in the leasing office?? And as far as the late fee starting at 100, the apartments aren't even worth what they are priced. Me and my roommate caught a "deal", two bedroom two bath for 824. They should be more like $600, and that is still steep. The walls are so thin you can hear people blinking! The one circuit thing they have going on in the living room is pointless, it's 2018! Update it! Definitely are not very big either. It floods after two minutes of rainfall. You pretty much will pay damn near $1000 a month for something not even worth the whopping $600 I gave them. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS TO ANYONE! DO YOUR RESEARCH! And as far as the money is concerned, I'm not too sure what Melissa is doing with all the extra money she is racking up every month, but legal action will be taken. I work hard EVERYDAY all day on my feet while she sits in her office deciding who to take money from, so $187 is a lot of money to me to just let someone take it. And the one star is only because I have to rate this garbage Update: I called the leasing office Monday August 19, 2018. The first phone call was answered by a "Celeste". Melissa of course was not in the office. I called again and she answered, Melissa says that it is my responsibility to have their apartments cleaned and that she was not going to argue with me and to have my attorney contact her. You definitely do not want to drink the water here. I had to clean the shower at least once a week or deal with the nasty brown coating that the water leaves behind. The shelving looks like someone cut up some particle board out back by the bayou and slapped them in. The counter tops are from the 70's. I uploaded pictures on google maps on the van mark location. The gym and tennis courts are extremely run down with excessive grass and mold growing on the courts. None of the gym equipment works, except for one elliptical that barely works. All of the gym equipment have been broken for over a year and have signs on them stating that they're in the process of repairing them (The signs have been on them for over a year). The public washing machines smell of mold and many times they were broken down too. My clothes smelled of mold all the time. I imagine having a washer in your apartment wouldn't be much different due to the water issue here. I assume the water might be the reason why the washes smell so bad. They shut the swimming pool down in July and never re-opened, but never stated why. I made the awful decision of moving here without first looking at other complexes in the area. I found more suitable living arrangements after my lease had ended in the surrounding area for the same price. Your looking at paying $775.00 or more starting with a tiny one bedroom apartment which is extremely overrated compared to competitors in the same neighborhood. I made the mistake of moving into this complex without viewing the place first hand, due to living in another city and having to find housing very quickly. This is definitely one of the complexes in Monroe, LA overcharging and taking advantage of the housing situation due to CenturyLink bringing people to the area. Once down here, I was able to find more suitable accommodations for a worthier price. I recommend taking your time looking if you are transferring down here to work at Centurylink. There are a lot of other places to live with prices that are more suitable. Unless they update this place, I wouldn't recommend living here. It is not worth what they are charging by far. They should not be charging more than $525.00 a month for their 1 bedroom apartments. Also, love how they show their loveliest apartment with expensive furniture. The actual apartments do not look like the show apartment in anyway. The apartment complex is very run down. After the flooding, i didn't see them gut any of the apartments that were affected. I would be weary of black mold. I lived on the second floor, so I was lucky not to have to worry about my apartment flooding. Definitely take a look for yourself. read more

I was visiting the properties on June 26,2019 assisting my brother with his move. I walked up the steps and knocked at the door. To my surprise it was the wrong unit and his was on the back side. As I'm walking down the steps the board under me gave out. The items in my hand flew and through the steps I go. I get myself together and gather my things and examined my damages. My brother walks over because he thought i was prancing him but quickly realized i wasn't. He called the main office and no one was in so he submitted a maintenance ticket. I called the office and left a voicemail stated what happened during my visit. My second call was to the curtesy officer who was very hostile on the call. He told me, " I work at the Sheriffs office so unless it's a issue with that i can't help you". I let him know i didn't know If he needed to file a report. To my surprise he asked me, "what kind of report would i put in on an accident"? I told him an accident report needless to say he told me i needed maintenance. I disconnected the call and contacted the only helpful person in this whole fiasco! He first asked if i was okay and let me know the damaged were repaired. On the following day I met him at the office along with the property manager Melissa. She seemed as if she was going to be on top of the accident so i filled the paper work out and her know of the damages to My watch and body. I told her that if they agreed to repair/replace my watch then that would be the end. I wasn't going after medical attention, bills nor any other type of compensation. A total of four days roll by and no call from Melissa. I contacted her and she stated she was just about to call me. She said she submitted everything to corporate and was awaiting a response. I was a little puzzled as to why i had to contact her and she never contacted me. Moving forward to 2 weeks and no response from melissa. I called and told her my watch needed to be replaced/repaired today. She stated she didn't know how much the watch cost and needed that to send over. As i told her when you requested the pictures of the watch you didn't think to tell me you needed a price? She then goes on to say she's the only one in the office and she gets a million emails a day. This is beyond me at this point and I want all future tentants know what to look forward to when it comes to van mark/ Melissa and the curtesy officer. read more
