We put our baby grand piano in to storage a year and a half ago in preparation for a home renovation. I was pretty nervous, to tell you the truth. The piano is a family heirloom and it's very important to us. So, the idea of removing it from the house wasn't one we were particularly fond of, but it was necessary. From start to finish these guys were FLAWLESS. When they removed the piano from our home, they took great care to protect both the piano and our house and bringing it back they did the same. They protected our hardwood floors and positioned the piano exactly as we asked all while being friendly and polite. We didn't have any damage to our home or our piano. These guys know what they are doing! I doubt we will need to move our piano again. But if we do, I know who I'm calling. These guys are 5 stars all the way:)

He has a great selection of pianos in his store and the price is very reasonable compared to other big piano stores in the area. Dennis said I can even use the price i paid for my Yamaha to upgrade to a Steinway as a credit within 10 years! After sale service is great too. I got my C1 6 months ago and Dennis is the one who maintains and tunes it. I will highly recommend Pianotek to anyone who is in the market of buying a quality piano.

I have had the same tuner for several generations and he is the first one that has respected the instrument and the work that has been done. Every tuner has their own phrases that they test during tuning. Dennis is a genius. Plain and simple. His tests are the equivalent of a Carnegie Hall performance. An absolute brilliant mind. Most tuners are a chore to get through and with him, it is a performance. He taught me many things I would have never known. He is as good as it gets. There aren't enough food words. From what I read, they are the largest piano store to offer Yamaha Fazioli Bechstein and Bosendorfer pianos. In addition, one would find many used restored Steinway pianos. They seem to sponsor many events which include children recitals, classical piano, concerts jazz concerts, and many other events. Personally I see this has a wonderful marketing concept that surely provides visibility to this popular piano store chain.

Truly a wonderful experience having Joan tune my new piano. Joan is clearly a master of her craft with tons of experience. She patiently answered my 10 billion questions about new piano ownership, and even took a lot of time to research specifics that were applicable to my piano, since it's a hybrid acoustic piano/digital "silent" piano. She also offered reasonable, practical, solutions and options to ensure optimal maintenance, for instance with maintaining ideal humidity levels in my home as well as potentially installing humidity controllers within the piano. Lastly, it's important to mention her prices were very reasonable. I can tell she really cares about what she does. I do not recommend Calvin's services as a piano tuner! His ear no longer has the ability to…read morerecognize between a natural note and a sharp. Calvin finished tuning my piano and I gave it a test run and immediately realized he had tuned two keys to the same note. When I pointed this out, not only did he gaslight me and say he didn't hear it, he also said the piano had to rest for 6 months before the tuning would settle properly. By that point the piano would need to be tuned again so that is bogus. After calling and texting, I finally convinced Calvin to come back and fix the note issue. He continued to act as though he didn't hear the wrong note and he didn't apologize for the great inconvenience. There were three of us here and he continued to disagree about not hearing any issues. I barely got the note rectified as he continued to gaslight me. On top of that he came across as rude, impatient, barely making eye contact and honestly unapologetic. He also kept trying to explain the tuning process to me and kept asking how I wanted the piano tuned as if there were options. I kept saying that the notes still sounded off, and his only solution was to continue asking me how I wanted it tuned. He also was grilling me on my knowledge of theory, as if that was needed to have my piano tuned by a so called professional. I've had this piano tuned dozens of times, and the tuner arrives, does his work, and afterwards I have beautiful sounding music. Now, thanks to Calvin, I am going to have to hire another tuner to do the work that was not completed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCAMMER!!!
