It is quite small, and feels overcrowded the minute 5 or more dogs are there. It is 100% concrete, and because it seems to retain moisture, it is often a little slippery, and filled with sludge (my dog always comes home with filthy paws). The park is under a bridge, so it is protected from most of the elements (rain and snow), which also unfortunately means all of the pee puddles remain on the ground. Also, because it's all concrete, I often times can't stay too long because my dog's paws will bleed from running around. Appears to be a water fountain in the dog park, that I assume they turn off for winter, but it's April and warm and still not on. Have encountered a few aggressive/annoying dogs (and owners), but it is not the norm for this dog park (and is expected at any dog park). There is no separate section for small dogs, and people continue to bring 5 on dogs that have trouble hanging with the big ones (almost always creates a fight). Cool views of Seaport and Brooklyn at night, just note that several homeless sleep near one of the entrances (the side facing Industry Kitchen).

As soon as I walked in the Stench hit me right in the nose. The water running by the sprinklers I did not want my dog to drink out of. However On the bright side it's spacious and they also have some dog decor that's cute, but they really need to manage that place more. When they do I would definitely come back.

In my opinion it does not feel like a park because there's no children's playground. It looks more like some corporate building entrance area. The cool thing about this park is that there are nice lights on the floor for the night time. The lights are thin and long and on the floor. The trees also have nice lights on them for a nice lighting effect for the night time. So nice. There are benches and stone tables and chairs to eat lunch. Many people do that there. This park kind of sucks sometimes because there are some random construction workers or people that smoke in the park and too bad the wind is so strong that the smoke goes on you. Other than that, the park is good for sitting and dining. The park is kind of long with stairs by the halal food carts and if you're handicapped or with big luggage then you can go around and enter it without taking the stairs.

It was originally created in 1968 as Liberty Plaza Park. In 2006 though, it was redesigned after John Zuccotti. The plaza is relatively large and it has granite paved walkways, seating areas, and plenty of shade! This park is also surrounded by all of the Skyscrapers in FiDi. There are some notable art pieces in the area too like Mark di Suvero's Joie de Vivre and across the street from Zuccotti Park is Isamu Noguchi's Red Cube. This is a great place to take a break and eat lunch! There are plenty of food trucks and food vendors nearby Zuccotti Park. While I was visiting, there were a lot of visitors enjoying the open seating at the benches! This is also a central location between Broadway and Trinity Place! I'd recommend visiting Zuccotti's Park if you're in the area especially if you're visiting for the Holidays!

I visited this dog park on a warm day in February with melting snow. People were shoveling the…read moreremaining snow off the play area.It is a large space and there were about 10 dogs/owners there. I have walked by this park many times but had never seen it. This is because you need to look up to find it. It is 20 feet or more above the esplanade situated at the corner where the walk turns away from the Hudson towards Brookfield mall. .You can access the dog run from setback steps off the river walk or once you turn away from the river, there is a ramp. At the entrance to the dog run there are two gates. The second gate is a bit rusty and difficult to slide. Sirius run is for any size dog . Big and little dogs are all together. Since my dog Mickie is small, I was a bit concerned. All was fine and Mickie relaxed. The owners kept an eye on their dogs. The Park has a nice view of the Hudson and its arrangement next to a kids playground is nice.

This is the dog run for the Financial District. I've been bringing my dog here for about a year now…read moreand I don't see anything changing that for years to come. A little history. This dog run is named after PAPD K-9 Sirius #17. He was a bomb sniffing yellow lab who served in the World Trade Center. He died during the 9/11 attacks when Tower Two collapsed. His body was recovered and he was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross. There used to be a plaque that explained all this, but I'm not sure where it went. It's not the largest dog run I've been to, but it's a decent size for most dogs. There's no partition so small and large dogs play together. It's paved, which I prefer to using gravel for the ground. There are two hills and one crater that fills up with water and becomes a pool. It automatically drains itself as well. There's a two-level water fountain off to the side. One level for dogs and one for people. I have often seen someone spray the pavement down with a hose at night, so I know this dog run is definitely cared for. There are nice benches all along one side. Overall it's a very nice-looking dog park. The park itself is elevated a bit so you can look out on to the plaza and the North Cove Marina. There's nothing like spending an hour or so enjoying the afternoon with your dog overlooking the water and people watching. I think what really makes this an enjoyable experience though, is the people. The other dog owners are courteous and friendly. There's a sense of community among the regulars. If you live downtown, this is the place to bring your dog!

We had the pleasure of seeing NY Classical Presents: Shakespeare In The Park "All's Well That Ends Well" at Battery Park during 4th of July Weekend. NY Classical performed this play throughout several NYC Parks from 6/3/25 - 7/6/25. NY Classical performs what they call in an "Immersive Panoramic Theatre-Style". All's Well That Ends Well started at Castle Clinton in Battery Park, & we followed the cast transition throughout other areas while performing scenes in Battery Park. NY Classical moved around Battery Park 3x's before returning to Castle Clinton to end the play. While we moved w/ the cast, people had the option to get comfortable, spread out their blankets or to unfold their chairs to sit, but then before you know it....Time to get up again for the next scene-lol. It really kept me on my toes and I found it to be unique, humorous, interesting & entertaining. Costumes, the NY Classical Cast & their acting was fantastic. nyclassical.org @nyclassical Battery Park has so much gorgeous space to walk around in, it is close to public transportation (several trains) and there is an eatery on the premises as well as multiple local vendors that sell food & souvenirs.
