I previously came here for annual women's visit and was happy. Came back to get blood tests which I had told them over phone. Spent 2 minutes they told me I had to go to my GP. Billed me a speciality copay of $75, in addition to billing my insurance. I got all my bloodwork done at GP for $25. Office not willingly to work with me. Paid $25 of $75 and they sent me to collections. Will never go here again. STAY AWAY!! read more

They tell you to get here early I do every time. Then I wait around for over an hour well past my appointment time! I have been going here for years and previously didn't have this issue until the last two years. I also get rushed out-I drive far to get here to get actual care and they don't seem to care. RUN FOR YOUR (and your baby's) LIFE! My wife and I started off our pregnancy journey here, and it was an absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Let me explain. We've been trying for several years to get pregnant, and after all this time we finally got pregnant! So we came to this center because it was the closest to where we lived. Here's what happened: 1) When we got our FIRST ultrasound (exciting, right??) the ultrasound tech literally was frustrated with our baby and complaining TO her for the WHOLE HOUR! Why? Because our baby wasn't in the best position for her stupid pictures so that the doctor could "approve" them...the tech lady was all worried the pictures wouldn't be approved...she was pushing on my wife's belly really hard. Given the fact that children can hear and sense our words and emotions in the womb, we were so frustrated with her. Don't you ever talk to our baby that way again. 2) We wanted a doula, and the two times that we mentioned it to our doctor (Mullally, to be specific), she would get angry and rude and give us a whole lecture about how horrible doulas are and how they don't know anything and she hates working with them..it's OUR CHOICE! And this lady would be delivering our baby? Um yea, no thanks! She has no peace or joy or gentleness in her..all business. And we met with some of the other many doctors in the rotation that could be doing the delivery, and didn't like any of them. 3) If you're still considering choosing them, let me put one last nail in the coffin. They statistically have the highest C-Section rate in the whole state! Yes, you heard right. Don't believe me? Do your research. And why is this? Because C-Sections are planned, quick, convenient, and they make the most money off of them! And without a doula or midwife to be an advocate for them mom, there's no one there to stop them or disagree at the time of delivery. To summarize: unless you want an unnecessary C-Section, and unless you want a grumpy rude doctor and ultrasound tech...stay away! You and your baby will thank me later. Has been my ob gyn practice for 30 years - wow that's hard to say. But over time, I've had three different physicians, had lots of things happen that they have taken care of, and I have always felt respected. For a brief period we lived out of state, and one visit to the ob in my new hometown, and I came home having felt like cattle that has just been to market. I quite literally called my ob here and said transfer my file back, next year I'll take a personal day and come back to TN. I have had mammograms and pelvic ultrasounds done here, too, although some of those tests are now outsourced. My doc is Cindy Woodall, and she's awesome. She has operated on me, monitors several conditions cautiously - but not overly cautious, and I'm all around happy. I did enjoy the aesthetics more before Vanderbilt bought the practice and turned everything beige and more sterile feeling... but it's still good. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would! I'm posting this hoping it saves another pregnant momma my heartbreak. The short version is they DO NOT follow guidelines set by pregnancy associations across the world to diagnose miscarriages, and it is impossible to get a timely answer from them. No expecting mom wants to think about this being a possibility, and going through it is traumatic enough without your medical team being unsupportive and not listening to your wishes. I started having some light bleeding around 7 weeks pregnant. They sent me for an RH factor and blood typing and at our 9 week ultrasound Dr. Woodall told us I had miscarried after only doing 1 ultrasound. She refused to order an HCG to even wash my mind. We ended up having to go to the ER to have an HCG pulled, and they ended up referring us to a different physician (Dr. Dykes) at this same clinic. Even though Dr. Dykes was the physician we were referred to, the clinic scheduled us with Dr. Woodall again for a follow up ultrasound only 2 days later. They again refused to order an HCG for us to be able to track my levels, and no other doctor was willing to give us a second opinion. Dr. Woodall refused to review our ultrasound from the ER stating that her associates agreed with her based off our original ultrasound even though she diagnosed a single, intrauterine pregnancy with no heartbeat and the ER ultrasound showed twins in a possible ectopic location. When told they were not following guidelines set for a definitive diagnosis, I was asked if I just wanted to cancel my appointment rather than just offer to do another blood draw (I suppose the inconvenience of sticking ME with a needle was just too great ). *Pregnancy associations around the world recommend repeating an ultrasound 7-14 days after the initial ultrasound as well as testing HCG levels every 48-72 hours even after a miscarriage IS definitively diagnosed to ensure your HCG levels reach 0* Through all of this, it was impossible to speak with a doctor or nurse directly even though I was having complications. They claim there is a doctor/nurse on call for questions, but they are too busy to comfort worried moms-to-be and never leave an extension number with the call center (who can't tell you anything about the clinic or doctor you are seeing. Don't bother calling them after hours as none of your concerns will be treated as valid. Miscarriage is an extremely emotional, trying time and the bottom line is they do not care about what you want or need, do not follow guidelines that have been set to limit the emotional trauma from a miscarriage as much as possible, and have no desire to. read more

I need to say that I went here while pregnant for both of my boys and had a generally wonderful time. Dr. Osburn is awesome! Since then, Vanderbilt has taken over this office and now I don't think I will be back because a lot has changed and today was the last straw. I had an appointment today at 9:45 but the lady at the desk said I wasn't on the schedule. She looked me up by my birthday and saw I DID have one but the doctor I was scheduled for was out of office and asked if anyone called me to reschedule my appointment (obviously not!). She went back and talked to someone and when she came back she said "If you could come back at 2 today..." I stopped her and said not to worry about it, I had already wasted my time and gas to come once. Not even an apology, just said "Call and we'll reschedule you" read more

I recently switched from another women's group for my pregnancy (I thought they were a bit cold.) All staff has been extremely friendly from the start. Very little wait time and the women at the front desk were warm and welcoming. I had minor concerns/symptoms prior to my first appointment and called twice and spoke with 2 different nurses. When I came in for my first visit today the nurse helping me remembered speaking with me and was very caring. Dr. Mallory Fox was great so far - kind, great bedside manner, and very informative (everything I want and expect in my doctor, especially for my first pregnancy.) She took the time to answer questions and explained everything she was looking for/seeing on the ultrasound from the start - it was very comforting I didn't have to ask her to elaborate on anything. We were too early to see a heartbeat and yolk sac (although I thought we should) but her calm demeanor has me at ease as I wait a couple of weeks until we try again. She's fairly new so I wasn't/haven't been able to find any reviews on her, but I am extremely happy I scheduled with her and feel confident I have found my doctor. read more

Are these Vanderbilt Doctors? If so, the reviews don't seem like VB physicians. For my care by Gynocologists I see Doctors at Vanderbilt downtown Nashville and I have never been rushed by any of the Doctors there. The Women's center docs seem like crazy people. Make your next appointment with the downtown department. You won't be sorry. Stay away from these Psychos in Franklin. I saw a Doctor there who did a Pap on me and wrote me a letter saying I didn't have cancer on my cervix. I wrote back and said "I don't even have a cervix," so I went back downtown. Franklin was closer to me but it's not worth it. read more

Worst medical experience ever. I spent nearly an hour in traffic getting there, only to find out that my doctor was out that day, and no one called me. Ok, things happen, I tell myself. I see another provider (I had to demand to see the office manager to be seen by another provider), who was great, except my prescription was never called in, and they never called me back with my test results. Wow, I can't believe that this is a Vanderbilt practice. Horrible. I'll be looking for another gyno! read more

Ok, We kept going here just to complete all the post-natal stuff and had them administer some birth control. Here is an email I got from my wife about her recent visit, which I hope will be our last: Well, they called to remind me of my appointment and in the msg made sure I knew that if I didn't show up I was still charged $35. I'm still on (cycle) so I called them Wednesday to see if I could reschedule yesterday. The receptionist said they couldn't get me in until May. I told her the doc had wanted to check the IUD and so she let me leave a message for the nurse. Nurse called back yesterday and told me to come in. I went in for them to check the IUD and technically have my yearly checkup. She went ahead and took the papsmear thing but said I would probably have to come back because it may not be clear enough at this "time." On top of all that, she didn't even examine me...really. No breast check, whatever. I had had questions but I didn't think to ask them because I felt like I was just rushed through. I was 9 minutes late, but I think they purposely made me wait a long time to go back because I was late. I just don't like them. I talked to Kim right before I left (which is why I was late). She had called them the day before the emergency C-section and told them that she had a terrible headache, it didn't feel normal and that she was extremely swollen and light headed. They told her to take a Tylenol. If they had had her come in that day, they may have been able to get her blood pressure down in time to not have to have the c-section the next day when she practically passed out. (Which means she may not have lost her baby.) I just don't want to mess with them anymore. I want to find someone that will spend more than two seconds with me and actually seems concerned about my health. This is the worst experience i've ever had an OBGYN!! They told me that they accepted my insurance and then a month later I get a 1200 bill in the mail saying that they no longer accepted CIGNA and that I had to pay this bill. Yet no one told me this when I went to desk before leaving to make sure everything was squared away. I payed the bill and i'm STILL getting call saying I owe money?! I went in on march 3rd, 2018 and it is now June of 2019 and i'm getting calls from the debt collector. this is the worst and most unprofessional office. The doctor was very careless and the whole appointment felt rushed. The woman i just spoke with was very rude and snappy. The office staff seems very disorganized. I was scheduled to see my OB and then had an ultrasound appointment to follow. The ultrasound departments runs separate from the OB schedule FYI-and thus I was rescheduled for another day because lack of communication. Today I had my glucose tolerance test, only to be told the lab tech stepped out for a hour and I would need to drive to the hospitals lab department and insist on a timed blood draw? I had to insist they call the lab tech and check when she would back. Being 7 months pregnant with a 2 year old in tow was not easy. Sorry but this office is not running like a fine tuned machine making me loose great confidence is possible perfectly fine OB doctors. Also the medical technicians and lab personnel are not friendly or seem happy at this location. Disappointed with the overall professional experience. read more

Have been with this practice since 20 weeks pregnant (36 weeks now). None of the OBs can get it together enough to agree with each other. My baby is diagnosed with severe IUGR and over the 16 weeks, fell from 38% to 3%. I was told that if, at my last growth scan at 35 weeks, she was under the 10th percentile, she'd be induced at 37 weeks without question because the risk of still birth would be way too high to go further. And that if she fell anymore, they'd consider taking her that week. Well, at the growth scan, she dropped 2%, and the MFM decided it'd be an awesome idea to push the induction back to 39 weeks!!! After the OBs all giving me a huge lecture on the risk of stillbirth past 37! Are you kidding?! Well I had to raise hell just to get them to squeeze me in to talk to someone... ANYONE! After hours of fighting, they agreed to a 38 week induction. Still deciding to risk my baby's life for no reason. I recommend NO ONE join this practice. It's been horrific. And getting through to anyone there is Judy pure hell. read more

I followed the directions on her website and got lost. when I finally got there she wouldn't see me bc she said I was too late. has she never worked someone in? that is what we do in healthcare. we roll with punches. I was an RN specializing in ER for almost 20 yrs. and I was aghast. the secretary did her best to get me seen by someone else {bless her heart} but was unable to. I've never laid eyes on this woman, but my first impression is that she is uncaring, incompetent, spoiled, and needs to find a career that is not people oriented. read more

Not one appointment I had there was a good experience. First, each time I waited about 45-1hr to be seen. They call your name just to put you in another waiting room. I am pregnant and my blood tests came back with some concerns and was told I needed to see a specialist and it would take a day or two no longer to get a call for an appointment. Never got a call. I called the specialist and they said they never received a referral for me. I called Franklin Womens Center back to let them know they still didn't receive it and was told something would be done. I called back a few days later to check with specialist and still hadn't received it. I requested FWC to call the specialist and figure it out and was told she would put a note it. This went on for about a MONTH. They had no concern that I was pregnant and needed a referral in order to see the specialist. There was no way I was going to deal with poor customer service my whole pregnancy so quickly transferred Dr. offices. . read more

Requested appointment for new patient for gynecological (non OB issues). Appointment was 1 month in the future which was fine. But once I was there, doctor didn't really seem to care about getting to bottom of my issues. Asked about breast health issue, and got "you should really have someone look at that, I'm not sure what that is" without any referral to someone or tests. Wanted to say, I'm here to see you with your state of the art breast health equipment that your website is so proud of. Tried to have me make another appointment for a pap because even though they did a pelvic exam, somehow they couldn't take an extra second to do it at the same time. The appt time they tried to give me was a month and a half in the future. I didn't schedule one in the end, and I'll just leave the appointment for Real Housewives of Franklin who are expecting... because I get the impression if I had been wearing Prada, they might have paid more attention to my women's health issues. read more

My daughter went for her first gyn appointment at age 21. The doctor on staff reccomended she go on a low dose birthcontrol to regulate her periods. She took the first pill and woke up the next day throwing up. I called the nurse triage and told the nuse she had been vomiting for 2 hours and could not keep even a sip of water down. I requested they give her something for the nausea so she would not dehydrate. The nurse seemed uninterested and told me the the doctor my daughter saw was on her day off!!!!.....I explained to the "nurse" that I didn't really think my daughter could wait until the doctor's return. She reluctanly said she would talk to the doctor on call. After an hour and a half, I called back to the Franklin Women's Center only to find out that the doctor on call had not even returned the nurse's phone call. I find this to be negigence in the highest and I would reccomend that no one go to this office or send a child of theirs to this office. They are negligent in thier duty and responsibily to their patients. read more
