I initially called and explained the issues…read moreI was having with my car stereo, and they assured me over the phone that they could fix it. I brought my vehicle in, they worked on it all day, and I paid $250 when I picked it up. Unfortunately, the stereo was not fixed. It had a noticeable reverberation issue that was not present before. When I brought this to their attention, I was told, "that's just the way it's going to be," and they refused to offer any type of refund or partial refund. During that visit, my boyfriend became frustrated and made an inappropriate comment, which I do not condone. However, we tried to handle things more appropriately afterward. The following Monday, I called again to report that the Bluetooth was also not working. They told me to bring the vehicle back in and promised they would fix it. When we returned on Wednesday morning, they took one look at my boyfriend and immediately told us to "get the f*** out" and refused to do any further work on the vehicle. At this point, I paid $250 for repairs that were not completed, and they refused to make it right or even attempt to fix the remaining issues as promised. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience.

The button just fell out of the back of the remote. I never got the remote wet and there was no water indicator on the chip board inside the remote. Then they keep my remote, tell me they will order me I new one which I paid for, and because I left an honest review on their Google they refunded my money and banned me from the shop. Now I have no remote and am out over $700.00. Beware of this shop and viper products. They don't honor their warranty or stand behind the product they sell.

The level of disrespect and dismissive of the issue to my fiancé was so rude. I wanted to talk to him man to man but he would hang up the phone. The issue to the tint was air bubbles kept pooping up and we're getting worst. He was dismissive when my fiancé talked to him and was rude to her. Hung up on me when a man decided to confront him. We just wanted the job done right or get a complete refund to get it fixed at a better place. He agreed to refund but later took it back.

If I could leave a zero-star review, I would. My experience with Auto Image in Wichita, Kansas has…read morebeen extremely disappointing and frustrating. I initially brought my 2022 GMC Sierra 2500HD AT4 in April 2024 for window tinting, including the front two windows, a full ceramic clear film on the windshield, and a brow on the windshield. Upon my first visit, I had to return the truck because the windshield brow was applied incorrectly--it was severely crescent-shaped. While the edge was about six inches from the top of the windshield, as requested, the film was only about 2.5 inches from the top at the center near the rearview mirror. Additionally, the front side windows were not properly prepared, as residual glue from the old tint caused bubbling around the perimeter of the windows. I also experienced a loud groaning sound when rolling down the windows on warm days due to the leftover adhesive sticking to the rubber seals. While they did correct the brow on the windshield, the issue with the side windows was not addressed adequately. When I brought this to the owner's attention, he claimed there was nothing they could do, stating that the dark tint would always show bubbles. They ultimately told me to "live with it," leaving me with unresolved issues. I also had Auto Image apply paint protection film (PPF) to my pickup, which was improperly installed. I was told that they could fill in rock chips with a paint pen before applying the film, and that it would look as good as new. I purchased the paint pen as instructed, but when I picked up my vehicle, the pen was still unopened in its original packaging, and the front end of my truck appeared to have numerous unsightly bubbles, resembling acne. I was advised not to use car washes, so I've been having my pickup hand washed and detailed by a local company every few weeks. However, when the film began peeling in several areas, the owner insisted that the damage was caused by a car wash. I have receipts and video footage proving that my truck has only been hand washed. Despite this, the owner remained defensive, agitated, and unwilling to take responsibility for the poor workmanship or stand behind the service provided. In summary, the lack of attention to detail, poor customer service, and failure to resolve my concerns make Auto Image one of the worst businesses I have dealt with. I cannot recommend them.
