They had many types, styles and colors of shingles to choose from including the Class 4 shingles preferred by my insurance company. All of the stove pipes and exhaust/sewer vents were painted a nice matching color. The work looks to be perfect. The cleanup was spotless - no nails and no pieces of shingles laying around. They were careful and moved my deck furniture, swing and grill out of the way and back in place when finished. They did everything in ONE day. The weren't cheapest but very close and I am so glad I chose them over the other firms who came and gave estimates. I am a fan and would recommend Sonntag to everyone.

We highly recommend Tim Wolfswinkel's company, Des Moines Area Roofing! We had a hail storm that…read moretotaled the roofs of our house, attached garage and smaller garage.. He was the ONLY one willing to work with our insurance company! Every other company was telling us they would put a ridge vent on top. Tim said, no, the pitch wasn't steep enough for that type of vent and instead installed 13 vents along the back. He said we would have ended up with more problems with a ridge vent along the top, collecting rain and snow. His crew came, did the job professionally, quickly and cleaned up really well! They went around with a magnet pickup device (2 in all) to make sure they got everything. And when the dump trailer was picked up the driver went around AGAIN to make sure everything was clean! Tim Wolfswinkel, Jan Bice and and the rest of the employees have been super great and we can't thank them all enough!
