Unfortunately, the salon's business practices overshadowed the quality of the service. Appointment scheduling seems to have little meaning. On more than one occasion, I was asked to change my appointment, and even after accommodating the salon, I still experienced long waits because walk-ins or other clients were apparently taken ahead of scheduled appointments. It's frustrating to make the effort to arrive on time only to find your appointment delayed. Another concern is the salon's practice of adding a fee for debit card purchases. When I questioned it, I was not given a satisfactory explanation. except that he was aware that it is against the law (Dobbs Frank). Because of the scheduling issues and payment policies I can't recommend this salon.

Tammy makes sure the polish look natural- polish is NOT too thick and it is graduated moving towards my cuticles. I am also very hard on my nails and she knows this too, so she does something with my nails that makes them all last between my sessions. I always get compliments on them. I highly recommend Tammy. It's an older storefront shop, but they have cute decorations and you can trust the staff.

It's been a few years since I've been back to Sunflower so I wasn't sure what to expect…read more I walked in on a Monday, so things were slow and I was able to be taken for a pedicure almost immediately. My nail tech, Rose took such good care of me from start to finish. I got the deluxe pedicure package and it was honestly one of the best pedicures I had in a long time. From the scrub and callous remover to the massage, she really took her time and was very detail oriented. I even had a cracked nail on my big toe and she was able to fix it up with a little acrylic in a way that looked so natural and matched my other big toes' nail in size and shape perfectly.
