I don't even know where to start here. I've been a loyal & regular customer to Vaperz for almost three years now, always at this location too. About a week and a half ago I went in to buy a new mod with a specific model in mind, I let the sales man talk me into buying a different model and boy was that a mistake (I even found out later the sales man straight up lied to me about the products battery life and how it performed vs the one I originally wanted) Within a day I noticed that within an hour the battery would go from fully charged to almost nothing and it became painfully clear I was given a defective model. I went back to the shop to tell them about my issue but was sent home with different "fixes" each time that ultimately did nothing, this happened several times.
Eventually I came back and said I'd honestly just like to return it and either get store credit or just get it swapped with an identical device that wasn't defective. They told me to leave the device with them for a few hours so that they could make sure there really was an issue and I wasn't making it up, sure enough I came back three hours later like they instructed and they confirmed the item WAS defective and she (the clerk) would get ahold of her manager to see what the next course of action was. Let me tell you I was sitting in that store for two hours waiting to find out what was going to happen, and in that two hours a different associate made a comment about her previous job being "Jews" because they were cheap, not once but twice despite me telling her after the first time that people with Jewish heritage (such as myself) May take offense to that. Between the random anti Semitic slang and the run around they've been giving me with what should have been a simple return made me question if I was still living in the real world. When they finally got ahold of the manager I was told that I had to leave the defective piece I paid for with them for 2 - 2 1/2 weeks while they contacted the manufacturer, and even then there was no guarantee I would get my money back or kit replaced. This basically left me SOL unless I gave them EVEN MORE MONEY to buy a new mod to use while they held on to mine.
I honestly tried my best to stay cool through this whole week plus ordeal because the main clerk (Fallon) really did try her best to help me and it's not her fault that her boss is fighting the possiblity of returning money with the tenacity of Mr. Krabs. Never in my life have I had a company sell me a product they acknowledge is defective or broken and STILL refuse to refund or replace the item. I'd say if you're just looking for juice I suppose this place is decent enough if you don't mind anti Semitic jokes, but if you're buying hardware you're better off finding a store that gives some sort of guarantee with the products they sell. I'm almost bummed because I really did like shopping there as it was close and some of the people were a pleasure to talk to but this whole experience really turned me off. read more
