Returning a faulty battery (one week return policy by the way, ridiculous) was a 15 minute ordeal that involved a phone call to a manager who basically said I needed to come back with a cartridge to prove that it didn't work because they apparently didn't have any. More importantly, why not just trust that it's faulty since I had a receipt? And if it isn't, you could resell it right? The assumption that I'm a liar was all it took for me to decide never to go back. I'm new to CBD, Kratom and Delta 8. I had a bad first experience with Delta 8 because I bought it from a less reputable store in town where they just wanted to sell me something and not help. This time at this store they listened, explained and really helped me find what I needed for me. So far it's working great taking 1/2 of a 12.5 mg gummy for pain and anxiety at a time. Prices are very reasonable, staff was super friendly including the manager who helped me, store is clean and well put together and they are super knowledgeable. I feel like they're there to help and get you headed in the right direction for individual needs, not just to sell a product. I'd highly recommend them for these needs. I'm considering starting on Kratom soon and possibly Delta 8 vape at some point. I have been shopping at Vapor World for years, but I'll never be going back. Last Sunday, my husband bought a device which I didn't think he was going to like. Not realizing they have a policy stating "no returns unless defective", I went to the store to try to exchange it for a better, more expensive device. Instead of telling me this, the sales rep straight LIED to me and told me that I could come back to get my money back on the device if I buy a new device that day. So I buy the new device. Rep looks at both my and my husband's loyalty points; over 800. We joke about how I spend too much money in that place. Fast forward, whoever was in there yesterday when I called insisted there was nothing he could do for me, even claiming he "understood" that I'd been lied to but that he could only exchange the device I'd originally brought in for a new one. BUT I ALREADY BOUGHT A NEW ONE UNDER THE PRETENSE OF A LIE BY THIS COMPANY'S REP. He stated he was a manager, but at one point he slipped up and said "... when I said that..." at one point, so there's a chance it's just the same guy. Either way, refused to let me speak to his supervisor, as if he was the end-all authority. Very pretentious about the entire situation. This company needs to seriously re-evaluate who they employee and promote bc this is not the first time I've been flat-out lied to. I would have been happy to accept the answer, "nah you're stuck with the device per our policy" if I hadn't been swindled into buying an entire new system. I visited the Vapor World location to purchase a vape pen. I worked with a sales associate to locate a pen for my needs. I found a vape pen that I liked but did not have my cartridge with me to see if it was compatible. The associate informed me that if my cartridge did not fit the vape pen, I could return it, so I purchased the vape pen. My cartridge did not fit the vape pen, so I took it back the next morning for a refund or exchange. A sales associate told me he could not refund or exchange the vape pen, only the manager could and that he was not there. The next day I called and asked if the manager was at the business before driving there for a refund or exchange. I was informed that the manager had called in sick that morning and most likely had COVID. I left my name and phone number for the manager to call me when he returned after his illness. I had not heard from the manager by the end of the next week, so I called, and the manager answered. I explained the situation and he said he was in possession of the note to call me but did not call. He informed me that Vapor World does not take returns or exchanges and that this was stated on my sales receipt. I informed the manager that the employee did not notify me of the company policy and had erroneously communicated to me that I could return or exchange the vape pen. The manager said the employee was new and needs to be "retrained". He also stated that the length of time since my initial purchase was too long even though I had made every effort to do it expediently and had given him time to recover from his illness before attempting to contact him again. The manager then informed me he would talk to the corporate office and get back to me. I have not received a call or other communication from the manger in two weeks. I would not have purchased the vape pen had I been informed about the return policy and given false information by the sales associate. read more

Was stuck in a hotel for work and forgot to bring my vape mod. Had a RDA with no coils, that I was not familiar with. I came in looking to buy coils, and immediately the staff knew I had no idea what I was doing. I forgot her name, it started with a K and said she was the regional manager. She offered to teach me if I brought the RDA. Once I brought it she showed me what I was doing wrong and taught me the right way. Very patient and understanding staff. They won't lie to you into buying stuff you don't need. She set everything up which took about 30-45 minutes and didn't show any impatience, even though it looked like they were busy. As a truck driver it's hard to find vape shops with truck parking. Glad I saw the billboard on 44. Their prices are reasonable on tanks and mods. The house juice has good flavor and you can get 100ml for $20. I have been to a few vape shops across the country and I'm wondering why VW has such a low average review. I have to say it's by far better than most of the shops I have been in. In My experience with this company there customer service sucks 100%. Stores seem to open and close whenever they feel like it, totally different from the hours of business they have posted... All of their shop locations have different products which seems to be counter productive for a Vape Store Chain. I Have been to Ten of Vapor World's locations in the U.S. all of which have poor slections of Juice, and their prices seem to be totally different from one location to the next. $35.00 for a 100 Ml of ejuice at one store, then $26.00 for a 120 Ml at the next lol... Pure Trash .... Then on top of it all if you buy any hardware they have a NO RETURN POLICY .... Which means they are afraid to stand behind their products... I have been a customer of Vapor World since they opened in Springfield. I have always been happy with their products and service until the last couple of weeks. A couple of days before Christmas I decided to upgrade my tank and battery and also wanted to buy one as a gift. I bought the ones that were recommended by the clerk. Within a day they were both leaking. I went back in a couple of days later to see what could be done. I thought that maybe I was doing something wrong. The clerk took it apart and cleaned it. That night it was leaking again. The one that I bought as a gift was leaking worse than mine. I went back in again a couple of days later. The clerk that was working called her boss and he said to try a new tank for a week and see if that fixed the problem. If not, I could come back in and exchange it for a different model. Still no luck. I took them both back in today and was told that since they were not leaking while they were there at the store that nothing could be done. These models were not cheap. I was not asking for a refund. Just an exchange or store credit. I even told the clerk to pull up my account and see how much money I have spent with Vapor World. Never mind how many people I have referred to this company. Guess my business is just not worth anything. They seemed unfazed to have a loyal customer walk out the door so unsatisfied. read more

Purchased a vape at the glenstone shop. They put the vape together for me and I brought the product home and began charging it. I went to check on it and the fluid was leaking through the vents on the tank. I brought it back in and they told me they wouldn't do exchanges even though it was only purchased the day prior and that it was probably the coil. They exchanged the coil and I brought the product home. By the time I had made it home it had already begun leaking again through the vents. I won't be returning to vapor world because of the products they push and the follow up customer service. read more

That being said the store on south Campbell is great! The customer service is very friendly and they with help you with any questions you have. I have been going to this store for months now and have never left disappointed. So while I can not speak for the other locations, the one on south Campbell is amazing in my book. read more

Been going there for 2+ years for juice and coils, paying their inconsistent prices, because I am a loyal customer... until tonight. I wanted to use my points to put towards a battery and, again, something else had changed since I was there about a month ago. The points redemption is very complicated now; it didn't use to be. You have to have a certain number of points to redeem them for specific things, and who wants a bunch of "fine print" restrictions? It's not simple anymore, nor beneficial. Electric Puff on E. Sunshine is my new vape home. They don't have a complex points system, but their prices are a fraction of Vapor World's. I just called to confirm the information regarding the points and spoke to Aaron at S. Glenstone location. It took him 22 seconds to explain how the points must be redeemed.
