The staff was incredibly sweet and took the time to help us sample a few different scents. We both ended up falling in love with fragrances we just had to take home. He chose Tobacco Blossom Vanilla, and I left with Amber's Way. Both scents are amazing. so unique, warm, and beautifully layered. I don't know who hired some of these women but I know one of them is in need of a serious etiquette course. I have been going to Sephora for ages as most women have since they opened. I hold nothing against the company simply one person that was truly rude to my sister and I one day. We went to do some shopping after a long day of work and we were excited to have some girl time. Therefore decided to test out some makeup which we purchased despite the negative experience. After being in the store for about 30 minutes, we started to receive glares and clearly suggestive foul talk about us. Such as "Oh my god, do they think this is a fashion show" and "I didn't know we were giving away make-overs today" from an employee. I was sincerely irked by these comments and restrained every fiber in me not to slander her in public. There was no mistake that this was directed towards us because she was standing right in front of us looking at us while talking with another employee. I do not like to write negative reviews but this - again - is not about the company and regardless of how bad a day an employee is having, a customer should never feel uncomfortable threatened or enraged when they are trying to relieve some stress by going shopping. Even having been through this I still ended up spending 220 dollars that day. However, I will never step foot into that store again and because of that I took my makeup needs to Ulta - who has way better customer service at this mall. In this part of town there is only one Sephora and one Ulta. Ulta has all the same selections plus way MORE, and is a thousand times larger than the Sephora at Southland Mall. I may be one out of a few to have experienced this but every customer counts and deserves respect whether they purchase something or not.
