I am 57 years old, mother of the groom. My daughter was a bridesmaid. Vanessa created very dark and thick eyebrows on me, gave me a very heavy Smokey eye on top and tons of dark eyeshadow under my bottom lashes, Caked on foundation with a large amount of powder & terrible looking blush. The heavy foundation & powder on my face made me look old and accentuated wrinkles under my eyes! I looked hideous with all this heavy eyeshadow & heavy foundation & powder. She tried to remedy by putting lighter makeup on top of the dark makeup. It did not work! It was awful. She just left. I was so mortified I started washing it off because a photographer was on the way so the pix I am posting is after I washed it off (except for the top of the eye which has lighter makeup caked on top of the dark makeup but I had already washed off the eyebrows, under the eye and all the foundation & powder) and I still look hideous. I had showed her ahead of time a picture of what I wanted which was a pic of me in professional makeup applied beautifully and not heavy. My daughter was somewhat satisfied with her makeup but Vanessa rushed it and her eyelashes were totally different. Now the hair - I'll just let the pix speak for themselves. It was terrible!!! The pics show my terrible hair too and pix of the washcloths washing my foundation & powder off. One pic is how much foundation was on one side of my face and the other pic is the other side of face. The last pic is of me in my dress when I did my hair and makeup! My daughter's hair looked good but all curls completely fell out in one hour. I had to have my two nieces come over and recurl it. I let Dee know all of this. I asked for half refund which I felt is reasonable for this terrible work and leaving my daughter and I in such a stressful situation on the day of my son's wedding! She was not very apologetic nor did she give me any refund. I wish I could give 0 stars.
