I would give 0 stars if I could. I had my fiancé's bridal shower the other day and called a week in advance to order a wildflower bouquet with pink and white colors. the owner on the phone said "okay! So summery colors? Would you like me to put a sunflower in there as well?" So replied "yes that would be great thank you". Long behold, after I dropped off my fiancé at her shower and rushed over to the florist to pick them up. I walk in and there was a STRONG cigarette smell that just smacks you in the face and cats everywhere. I told the lady at the counter I'm here to pick up a bouquet. so she goes into fridge and can't find it! So she says "I don't see it! What's the name?" So I gave her my name so she finds my order ticket and she says "oh! Here it is" and grabs a bouquet of flowers that looks NOTHING like I asked for a week prior. It was a ugly beige rose bouquet that looked like it was meant for a funeral, meanwhile I asked for a colorful pink and white wild flower bouquet. The lady insisted that that was my order and showed me the ticket that said "wildflower bouquet summer colors" so I demanded that she make me a new bouquet! So had to take it upon myself to open the fridges and select flowers that would be in a WILDFLOWER bouquet. The lady then took the flowers and made the bouquet that I pretty much put together. Then proceeded to charge me FULL PRICE with no compensation. I will NEVER be coming back here they made my quick 5 minute florist visit turn into 30 minutes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! read more

I chose Variety Florist based on the reviews I saw here on Yelp and they exceeded my expectations! I called the store and the woman was very helpful and friendly. The arrangement was delivered with no problems. Normally when I've purchased floral arrangements over the phone, they're not what was described nor expected. I arrived at our hosts' home and was excited to see the arrangement front and center on the dining room table looking Stunning! Tons of compliments! It was time for birthday flowers and my wife had already contacted the florists that came up in the searches online in the delivery area. The first store seemed it would work when ordering before the cut off then hours later cancelled. The second store confirmed and confirmed they could do it. Then after 3pm they changed their mind said they could not do it. At this point she was at the end of her options but gave Variety a call instead of giving up. At 5:56pm Heather answered and hearing my wife's frustration and desperation decided she could do something about it. Although Variety was closing and already had plenty to still do they made it happen. We are beyond thankful that Heather and Variety would help out a new customer calling minutes before closing. If you can give them a chance to earn your business it would pay them forward for doing such a great service to our family. read more

I contacted this florist for the passing of my brother's mother in law. I gave a detailed explanation of what I wanted, which was a rose rosary flower arrangement. I did not care about the price but what the florist provided was disappointing and embarrassing. This was such a sentimental moment for my family. The arrangement did not match what I asked for...especially the price I paid. I paid nearly $300. What a discouraging and disappointing experience. read more

Let me start out by saying that I am not a particular PITA to deal with. I understand everyone can't please everyone all the time. I have used variety a number of times to send arrangements and was always satisfied, although I never saw the arrangements that were sent. But this Christmas, relatives sent an arrangement to my house. I'm sure they didn't specify Variety, but that is who ended up with the order. On the 27th, I found a door tag in the bushes near my front door indicating they had attempted delivery on the 24th. So, I called them. No answer and no voice mail. Mmm. We ended up going to the store to pick them up on the 28th. What was handed to us was a large arrangement of pine cones, baubles and other typical cheap florist "filler" material and a total of 9 somewhat tired carnations. The folks that sent the arrangement wanted a picture, but I was too embarrassed to send one and blew it off. I'm quite certain these folks did not request the cheapest, nastiest thing available, but that is certainly what showed up. It went straight in the garbage and made for much frustration and from my other half, down right anger. We will never be using Variety again and will certainly not recommend them. For those of you who will say "you should have said something", they're florists. They knew exactly what they handed us. If the original arrangement was beautiful and they took out the wilted flowers, then I blame the delivery service for placing the tag in the bushes, not following up and at no time, contacting us. I have never had a bad experience with Variety. In spite of the dipping economy, Heather is always able to stretch her customer's buck to get the most flowers for it. Her arrangements are beautiful, and can even be made as you wait right in front of you due to the store's open design.
