Upon correcting date The Progressive Claim office out of Pasadena CA process has been unduly, evasive and distrustful. They treated me with no respect and is trying every avenue of denying my claim because my policy is up September 2. I filed my claim July 28, and I am just now getting it resolved August 28 for a no fault accident. I have had to contact their corporate office; and the Insurance Bureau of CA; overall, from the many phones, letters, and email it is draining and takes a lot of you energy. My blood pressure has increased, and it is stressful. Don't use them, go with Nationwide or anybody else, Progressive puts on a happy front on TV, but it is a LIE, don't believe the HYPE; I will NOT use this company again; and I very unhappy with the professionals (Lori, Steve, Kim) who processed my claim as well as the insurance agent out of Sol in Encino who is also a fraud. Progressive Insurance is another CORPORATE THIEF!

    Involved in an accident filed a claim. The initial inspection was completed. The body shop called…read moreon 7/13/21 asking for a Supplemental Inspection because the estimate from the initial inspection would not cover the damages to my car. The Bodyshop sent an email to the adjuster and the inspector on 6/14/21 with pictures asking for a supplemental inspection. We received no response so we sent another email and called on 6/16/21. We were told over the phone that they need an inspector to come out and photos would not suffice due to the extent of damage. They would let us know when the adjuster would come out. We didn't hear from them so on 6/19/21 we sent another email and called. Every few days we'd call/email. Yesterday I spoke to the adjuster handling my claim and he said they had no inspectors available. According to him, He had put in the request but he's "not sure what happened with the request." My we put in the request for a supplemental inspection 4-5 days after I got a rental vehicle. For 25 days we've been calling the adjuster and general customer service because we kept getting the run around. 30 days had elapsed on my rental and I was told they would not cover the rental because the contract states that they would only cover a rental for 30 days, and as "an atty. I should know that." I replied yes, but a contract requires you to uphold your end of the duties and responsibilities-part of which is to inspect the car so parts and labor can be approved in order to repair my car. Also, the purpose of the rental is to allow me to have a car while my car is being repaired. We gave liberty mutual more than a reasonable amount of time to come and inspect the car and should the repairs have taken longer due to factors outside of their control I would understand that I would be on the hook for the rental. The fact it has been 25 days we've been calling and emailing while my car sits at the lot is extremely frustrating and improper. We still cannot get anyone to tell us that an inspector has been scheduled and the rental is being charged to me as of now. Btw there is no dispute as to liability or coverage. They just aren't responsive! My Safeco/Liberty Mutual claim number is 045764191.
