I was using one of the cable, mind you there are about 6 cables in this gym. And this dude who just walk straight up and move all my stuff and said "I was using this" "Sorry, there was nothing here indicating someone was using it specially since no one was using it also" I said "I went to the bathroom and I'm doing a super set" he said So I was like he was gone to the bathroom, and also using another machine.....and I'm supposed to know he was using it, specially there are 5 more cables near by that are open. So I ask "instead of removing all my stuff mid workout, can't you just use the other 5 cables that are open or just ask how many more set I got?" Then he start yelling and cussing at me, mind you the staff was standing there across the room training someone(that person was listening). I usually come here around 4 am but today I was sleeping in. Never doing this again. Thanks god I'm moving out of here this summer. Also I saw him did the same thing to a lady at this gym and act like he owned the gym somehow.

Employees are consistently glued to their cell phones or openly eating full meals at the desk, complete with a smorgasbord of food, while members are left waiting or ignored. Need help? Good luck. It feels like you're interrupting their scrolling or snack time just to ask a simple question. There's zero sense of professionalism, accountability, or customer service. If the staff put half as much effort into doing their jobs as they do into their phones, this place might actually live up to its marketing. Billing is an absolute nightmare. They do not clearly tell you that if you don't cancel months in advance, you will not get your annual fee refunded. When you try to ask about it, no one at the front desk seems to know anything about billing at all. Instead, they send you to an outside company -- who then sends you right back to the gym. Back and forth. Over and over. No one takes responsibility, and no one can issue a refund. To make it even worse, staff will tell you they'll "call you back" and then never do. No follow-up. No accountability. Just silence. It's incredibly frustrating to pay monthly for a business that can't be bothered to offer basic professionalism or customer service. Planet Fitness may be cheap, but the way this place is run makes it clear why.

The manager is the kindest person I've met. She's gone out of her way to help me track down a product that was on back order at a nearby location, answered any questions I had and always followed up, and assisted in transferring my home location when I moved. I'm so sad I won't be at this location anymore, the new one has big shoes to fill.

When the driver thanked her, Rainbow didn't respond and muttered something disrespectful under her breath. Later, I overheard her telling the company that she never received her food, when in fact, she had! They say to judge a person's character by how they treat others, and she definitely didn't pass that test. And this is a 'woman-owned' business? If that means acting like a catty liar and thief, then sure. I decided not to sign up after that experience--can't trust a place like this. Beware!

The other fantastic part about this gym, the staff and trainers are super friendly and laid back. There is an absolute sense of purpose here. There's a warm feeling, as though the trainers are here for you to succeed, to push you forward to reach your goals. I know that is probably how most gyms claim to be, but honestly I've never felt that until stepping into this little hidden gem recently. I felt comfortable working on bench presses and working muscles I hadn't worked in years. I had fun and though I could not lift as much, that doesn't matter to them. To them, what matters is me, what I can do, what success looks like for me, and where I am at now and where I could be later. I love that! It's not that they just say this, I can tell they believe this and do what they can to ensure it emanates through the classes they hold, the training sessions, and the atmosphere in the gym. Exercise has always been in my life but it had been years since I actually had a direction for my workouts. I met up with one of their trainers, Jason, and I was able to use an In Body Scan machine. This machine is amazing, it measures your body fat percentage, how many calories you need to just be awake, as well as your skeletal muscle mass among many other things. Jason explained every detail to me in a professional and friendly way. I never felt stupid despite my ignorance. As we began talking about the numbers he asked me what I was looking for and what I wanted to achieve knowing this information. I had a hard time sticking down a specific number or goal but as we talked more about what I wanted and how I could achieve it we settled on a couple of goals and a manageable time frame to achieve them. Another great thing about this gym? They also have classes you can sign up for, BMFC fit class, power lifting and boxing, as well as personal training sessions. If you're not ready for that yet, you can even set up a plan to use the gym at a pretty reasonable price too. If you have ever felt intimidated at other gyms, or you wanted to talk through your goals, nutrition, or exercises in a comfortable and open environment, Body Masters Fit Club is the perfect fit. I wish I had found this place sooner, but now that I have I'm excited to see where I will be a year from now. Perhaps, I'll even be able to climb up that rope they have and touch the ceiling!
